I enjoyed it. Especially both Royal Rumbles. Everything from Seth Rollins' incredible, and innovative way to eliminate, to New Day's outside help with kofi, all the way to the final 4. I was on the edge of my seat. I was rooting for Finn Balor to win. I see Balor as a threat now. I mean, for Balor to stay in there for the duration of the Royal Rumble? That's some Shawn Michaels-level sportsmanship. I see Balor as Champion by the end of next year, if not sooner. But Nakamura winning is a surprise. I was not expecting him to win. I was expecting Asuka to win. I was rooting for Becky or Sasha to win the Rumble, and both did a immaculate job in there. I'm happy with how Women's Rumble turned out. It wasn't really forced, it was because EVERYONE wanted to win. Like, for real. They wanted to win. I'm happy.
The handicap wasn't perfect, but it was tolerable. The RAW Tag Team match was stupid on many levels. Jordan embarrassed himself in there. I see Jordan vs Rollins at Elimination Chamber. Mark my words. That ending was fucking Blue on many levels. When Jordan walked the edge of the ring early in the match the first thing out of my mouth was "what the fuck!? What was that!?" And then, the ending - "Yeah, Rollin's going to have a problem with you soon."
And by the way: Corbin is PISSED. Did you all see that shit? I was like "Corbin is PISSED!" I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of his anger.
One thing is clear, though: WWE really, really wants Japan.
I wasn't expecting much from Rousey's appearance, so the ending is pretty "it is what it is." But I do expect something bigger on RAW from both Rousey, the state of the championships (asuka's choice being one).
I do have a question about the match, though. What about Tye Dillenger? Where does this go now? I found it odd that WWE left him out completely. Sami being in the Rumble is supposed to be void. I am curious about this of everything we learned in this Royal Rumble.
WWE can use this as a storyline to eventually put Dillenger in Wrestlemania for Universal Championship...
