why are people upset over the Strowman thing now? And why is it considered to be a "troll" when all they're doing is telling a story? Strowman wanted to cash in and the Shield didn't let it happen, there's literally not more to it than that. Yall always gotta get worked over nothing.

I really enjoyed and it and didn't expect the Shield to come out at all, even in attire and everything. Now they're truly the most dominant force on the roster with the Universal and IC champ on the team. You only gotta let em hold the tag titles as well and we're all set for the Shield takeover.
Didn't watch the rest of the show but I think they did a great job with the first Universal title match/post match segment on Raw since 2016 lol

While in this 2018 way I'm criticizing the writing... I see the criticisms here as mostly wanting a guy you want to win the title win the belt from a guy you don't want to win the belt, then being thwarted. The whole wrestling business is built on anger lol, so much of this is a mark reaction and there's not a damn thing wrong with that.

It's a troll because they took internet rumors that were going on for months, hinted at that rumor actually coming true and then taking it away. And then they did it again. For months people have assumed that Strowman would cash in at Summerslam or the night after. So he tried both times and they didn't go through with it. WWE was well aware of these rumors and they were very well aware of the fan's expectations when they did this. It's the VERY definition of a troll.

There was no need for them to do this two nights in a row. If they wanted to do this Shield thing, they simply could have passed on the Summerslam cash in attempt and just did the Raw one. Doing this two nights in a row is the very definition of a troll and I am shocked an intelligent person like you cannot see that.

tbh, I don't think Vince or the writers see it as a troll. It's only people who think they're getting trolled who think this is a troll. For Vince it was probably just a convenient way of holding the cash in off, without completely ignoring it. Because why would someone like Braun not try to cash in right away, now that the Universal title is back on the road?
Rumors are rumors and never promised fans a damn thing in the first place. I don't even wanna know how many times WWE writers or bookers looked at rumors on the internet of supposed "leaked information" and said to themselves "we never planned anything like that".

Besides, the crowd ate it up both times and that's all that matters to them. They don't care about some comments on the internet going "we read Strowman was gonna cash in and he didn't, you trolled us Vince!", they just want the crowd to be loud, invested and not know what's gonna happen next, which they achieved. And also, Strowman still has the briefcase, it's not like he lost it and never gets a shot at it again lol. He's gonna cash in eventually, maybe even when it's a bit more unexpected or in the form of a whole PPV match, you just have to be patient

Really boring show.. The main-event was good even though Finn Balor is boring as shit, he still puts on good matches sometimes.. Bad show to start watching again, but since I'm attending RAW next week I figured I should know what the fuck is happening.

Yeah a world title match between Braun and Roman inside a Cell is a very High Calibur match.

Even though wwe in this era has made a living off of trolling us from what we want, to me this isn't a troll. This is more of a "Better luck next time" situation.

Hell this event maybe even more motivation for Braun to try to cash in more often and/or unexpected.

But Braun needs to set a match in stone like RVD did. Because if he cash in after a match that will take away from his character. He's shouldn't be the type that prey on the fatigue and weary. The dude should stay the dominant giant who is up for any challenge that he is.

If they make a match set in stone. I believe Roman will be the victor. They have been pushing him for years now, and with rumors of a Rock vs Roman Reigns match they will push him to the extreme. At least for everyone involved besides Braun. Imo depending on where this leads, this could end up being the biggest thing to fuck up Braun's character since putting him with superheel Alexa. They need to quit making Braun look like both a pussy and a dumbass if they don't want to do major damage to him that even Flex Tape won't be able to fix. And they have plenty of options. Time will tell whether they use them or not, or whether they just end up sacrificing Braun in order to have one less person they need to worry about the smarks cheering over Roman
