Before I get into my actually thoughts, I feel it necessary to contribute something of worth to the conversation going on at hand. Anyone else remember that the last time we actually saw Paul Bearer was when Kane locked him into the storage freezer (well Orton did and then Kane kind of liked that and ran with it). Pretty morbid in hindsight when you think about it. I know this only tangibly relates to what this thread spiraled into but I don't actually care to repeat what Stopspot already said. Enough of this though.
While I understand their place in wrestling and their purpose, I never really cared for managers. You can throw out an entire catalogue of the greatest managers in the history of professional wrestling and my reaction to every single one of them will always be a resounding "meh". Besides Paul Heyman, the only person exempted from this is Paul Bearer. I just loved the character and I loved the tie in to the pasts of The Brothers Of Destruction. And pretty much all his returns were fantastic (from the ones I've seen), like when he returned at WrestleMania XX. That was my favorite part of that actually match, which isn't really a compliment but still. R.I.P.
