Despite surfacing online this week, Beyonce’s ‘4′ LP remains one of the most hotly anticipated releases of the year. The already fever-pitch anticipation looks set to heighten today after the unveiling of the LP’s deluxe edition cover (above).

The 30 year old is currently #1 on the Billboard R&/Hip-Hop Chart with sizzling new single ‘Motivation’. Across the pond, she serves as a judge on hit UK show – The X Factor.
Rowland’s third studio album ‘Here I Am’ hits stores this Fall.

The release marks more than 4 years since Rowland’s last album ‘Ms. Kelly’ hit stores.

Ne-Yo is back in the lab recording his fifth album. The singer-songwriter checked in with his fans to share more details about the emotion-filled project.

“Album is coming together oh SO very nice! We takin’ em’ back to when music made you FEEL somethin’ on this one!” he tweeted. “This album will produce emotion, PERIOD. The whole gambit from joy to sorrow and everything in between. PLEASE prepare yourselves.”
His latest offering, due this fall, has something for everyone. “I been in the cave makin’ SURE I give y’all somethin’ worthy of the love y’all have given me. We gon’ dance, vibe, cry, laugh, make love,” he continued. “Imma make you think about the one that got away, the good one you got AND the one you wanna go get all in the same hour!! I GOT Y’ALL!!”
The R&B gentleman previously told Rap-Up TV that he learned a lesson from last year’s concept-heavy Libra Scale. “I’m definitely gonna make this one a little more simple. I feel like [on] Libra Scale, I got a little too cool for the room. It was a little difficult to understand what was going on, catch the concept. So this one is gonna be more about just listening to the music and vibing out.”

Keyshia Cole paid tribute to one of her idols, Mary J. Blige, while on R. Kelly’s “Love Letter” tour. The Oakland songstress once again covered the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul’s My Life classic “I’m Goin’ Down” live at the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles last night. I know a lot of artists get to the point where they believe they have made it, no longer have anything to prove and thus they just kinda do what they do- not caring about record sales, chart position or even publicity and promotion. Keyshia Cole I believe has become such an artist.


I also believe that marriage and motherhood have made her complacent. Keyshia seems to lack a certain fire that artists still in the infancy of their careers have. Her ‘Calling All Hearts’ album was a complete snooze fest, featuring eleven tracks that sounded as if they had been left on the cutting room floor of previous album sessions.


This I believe explains why Keyshia is on a nationwide tour with R. Kelly and we have barely heard anything about it from Keyshia or her record label. Finding pics or video of tour performances has been almost impossible. This is inexcusable considering social media sites like Twitter and Facebook have made it easier than ever for artists to take control of their own promotion.
