Jake was good, but he didn't get to the heights Piper did with his promo work. Piper got his way to the mainevent of the first Wrestlemania off his promo work.

Voted Jake just to make this closer because it should be. Piper should win though.

Shit! Had to toss a coin for the second time in this thing, and heads says its Piper. This match is pure old school.

I went with Jake Roberts. His promo style influenced so many others. It was timeless and his promo style was just chilling good. Scary good.

Oh please, all Piper did was yell. Granted, he managed to get hugely over despite the fact he could never wrestle worth a fuck, but he wasn't near as interesting or intimidating as Roberts.

Went with Roberts.

Well its horses for courses really, see Piper was a great brawler, and because he could do the basics like timing so well and was so believable as a arsehole he got away with having a limited range in ring.

Yeah, like Roberts was some kind of in-ring general in his day, he had great psychology and used it to perfection,

Piper was a maineventer off his promo work and Roberts wasn't, deal with it.

I would argue that Roberts should have been however, he had the talent and was clearly getting over big time with the crowd.
