Re: Pulse's Weekly Wednesday Scream

I'm there, that was one nasty pen when it got back to HDS.
I probably just type slow. I'm just now panning to Ash watching the monitor.

Ripley is now talking to Ash.

Yeah, they're having a conversation in mine too. Ash just stretched. Holm does add some odd subtle touches to his character that makes you think something is a little "off" with him but its still a shocker when it turns out he's an android.

Disobeying her order wasn't letting her do her job.

I always jump when the face hugger falls on Ripley.

They just went in to check on Cain on mine.

Yeah, he's quite quirky there.

Nope, I'm at them checking on Cain as well.

Re: Pulse's Weekly Wednesday Scream

Look at that Alien prop. That's what's missing from today's CGI films.

Yep, puppets and models will always look better. Just look at the Thing from 1982 vs. the CGI one from last year.

Good ole fashioned puppeteering.

Agreed. The Thing looked so much better in '82. And the funny thing is they look realer to boot. Although I enjoyed the prequel quite a lot.

Maybe after Alien-Resurrection, we bust out the Things.

I'm down with that, I'd even like to watch the old Howard Hawks one, its pretty great in its own right.
