Hopkins got better at that with Predator 2. It would have been interesting to see Harlin's take on that movie or this one, but I assume he was busy filming Die Hard 2.

This came out in 89, I don't know when Die Harder was filmed but it's possible.

I would have liked to have seen him direct this one too. He knew the Alice character so well and his style just fit these movies.

Actually that was Shawnee Smith, from the Saw movies and now playing Charlie Sheen's ex-wife on Anger Management.

This came out in 89, I don't know when Die Harder was filmed but it's possible.

Die Hard 2 came out '90 and would have had a much longer filming schedule, so that's most likely the reason. Can't blame Harlin mind you, he probably made way more money directing DH2 than he would have doing this.
