Apparently the water out here was so cold the actress was getting frostbite and the actor who plays Jason refused to work any more until they warmed her up.

It's a true story. Ted White demanded they let her out of the water and warm up or he'd leave the shoot. Following that incident he asked for his name to be removed from the film credits.
