That might be the best alien kill in the whole series and yes, definitely smart of that guy to think of it.

I must say that not having the Queen burst through is much better. It makes her sacrifice seem less significant if she'd have died either way.

I agree. A lot of people hate that change but I think its a lot more logical and shows the character Ripley truly is.

I agree. A lot of people hate that change but I think its a lot more logical and shows the character Ripley truly is.

Other than being a cool shot, I don't see the justification for wanting the other ending. Ripley shows her immense character here.

Only thing I don't like is killing off Rilpey in general as it adds to the already dead characters pool with Newt and Hicks --

but that's nothing that could be changed now...

Next is Alien: Resurrection.

Which I feel gets undersold by many. Winona Ryder is great in it and it's partially written by Joss Whedon.

And Ron Perlman, Dominique Pinon, Leland Orser, Brad Douriff, Michael Wincott....it's like a ton of my favourite character actors all in one movie.
