The biggest issue is that Blaine hasn't cleared Cake, only made it so her lynch today isn't a viable option atm. Blaine could be lying for a multitude of reasons. He could be town too, like I've been leaning him on. The point is, we have a role that's janitored, a player who willingly divulged information about an hour or so after the night flip.

There's still scenarios where Blaine could be town and Cake could be scum. But that's far less likely than the other way around.

If Blaine is town. Then I can't have a killing action. There is no scenario in which he flips town and I don't. From Blaine's pov I'm confirmed to not have a killing action ergo not scum, not sk and not any town role with an active killing ability like a vig etc.

Sky is caught in the classic loop of trying to defend against the insane which is of itself insane but it shows that she wants to defend being called scum, bc she is one. Definitely putting her up at the top

I'm not even pushing you lol. I'm pointing out that you aren't cleared just because Blaine says you can't kill, right after a role was janitored. Blaine isn't 100% town at this moment, which is what it feels like you have a hard time grasping rn.

Let's look at the permutations

Blaine town, Cake town = seemingly the simplest explanation but 100% not confirmed and certain people should not be acting like it is. On in-thread play I have serious doubts
Blaine town, Cake scum = impossible
Blaine scum, Cake town = an attempt by scum Blaine to claim a legit result and gain town points
Biaine scum, Cake scum = teammates hunkering down and congealing as split begins to favour them
