How about a wooper? I mean, it has no arms and can learn Ice Punch, that's pretty awesome.

Or if you want something scarier looking, Gyarados. You get a free chance to capture a Gyarados at the Lake of Rage.

I thought about Wooper, but I think for my water type pokemon I'm either gonna go for a Golduck or that Lapras you can catch at Union Cave. I've used the Red Gyrados in almost all of my Gen II playthroughs, so I'm trying to mix it up

Whelp, I was wrong. It is only Gold and Silver. I could have sworn all three got it though. Is Elekid in Crystal? Electabuzz is pretty solid.

Then I say one possibility could be Jolteon. You get a Thunder Stone from a trainer in the rematch feature, but if you don't want to deal with the stone evolution, then maybe a grass type? Oh, wait most of them are also stone evos.

Yeah, I've enjoyed using one when I played through my friend's Heart Gold game. Honestly, I don't dislike any Eeveelutions. I like Vaporeon, I like Jolteon, feel sorry for Flareon, Leafeon is underrated, Glaceon looks cool, Espeon is cool, I've already explained my recent love for Umbreon, and Sylveon stole my heart in X and Fuchi in ORAS.

So only 3 days until Christmas. I avoided buying one of the new games because I know my mom really likes to buy me a present that she knows I really want. So I decided to wait. And it's sitting under the tree. And starting on Christmas, I can try to catch up with you all....

And then I thought... what if it's not one of the games? What if she misunderstood and it's Lego Star Wars or something? Christmas is stressful
