Of course, I was speaking strictly about the story line when saying they are the same. There's not much difference between Gen 3 and ORAS.

ORAS is worth the purchase if you really enjoyed Gen 3 and just want to see it with updated graphics, basically. There's additional story stuff, mega evolutions and whatnot as well.

Also Pokemon Z is something to keep an eye out for, I don't think it got officially confirmed or even mentioned though I could be wrong about that, but it'd be X & Y combined into one game, if you wanted to hold off on picking up X or Y.

A Gen 7 game in Kalos...hopefully with a better story...and I get to crush everything with a Sylveon again.

All the new Pokémon mechanics and characters sound intense lol, gonna start with Pearl and go slow.. hopefully my mind doesn't get overloaded lol I'm still use to replaying the original periodically whenever I get bored. The most recently released one I've played was definitely Ruby and that was a LOONG time ago so it'll be interesting again to be playing on a handheld console rather than emulator.

I know that feeling, I got back into Pokemon when I signed up here and all of the stuff that got added into the new games was super overwhelming at first.

Good to know, I mean I can pick up stuff easily and I'm sure there's plenty of walkthroughs or guides if I have any questions.. heck I could probably come on here lol and post and receive answers.

Think I may have built one of the best UU teams ever. 6-0s everywhere. Wall core too strong.
I have nothing for water types, although they don't cause me much trouble. Could use toxic on Vaporeon, seed bomb on Donphan or grass knot on Tornadus.
