Rock could point out that Straight Edge doesn't just refer to drugs but also to not engaging in promiscuous sex, which Punk very conveniently ignores for his own benefit (he's admitted to sleeping around before.) Pointing out this slight hypocrisy that contradicts Punk's life philosophy would not only be a good dig at Punk, but also would allow Rock an opening for a joke about he gets more pie than Punk could ever hope to get.

Plus it helps Punk, all heels work best when they're hypocritical twatbags imo

If Rock were to use promo notes would he not put them somewhere more subtle than his microphone holding wrist?

Less obvious. Plus - as I've said four times - it blended well with his tattoo's. Having writing there is incredibly common where as on your hands it isn't.

Well, I can't imagine Rock having to look at his wrist to remember the next point he was supposed to talk about in his promo and not have it be obvious, especially when there was a close-up picture of those notes on his wrist the very next day on the internet.

We live in the internet age. Someone can easily freeze frame a stream or taping, cut out the frame and paste it.
