WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of William Moody, aka Paul Bearer. Moody made his WWE debut in 1991 as the manager of The Undertaker and went on to become a memorable part of WWE over the course of the next 20 years.

He was 58. Don't know the cause yet.

Sucks to see, as he was always good as a manager, and could have been used in the retirement of Undertaker.

RIP.

Chris

Re: Paul Bearer dead?

Yeah, unfortunately it is. WWE.com broke the news. No details whatsoever yet.

RIP

a wonderful talent who was key in bringing the Undertaker and his character along when he entered WWE.... without him we may not have had 20+ years of the deadman, so thank you and RIP

I've been watching him, being antagonized by him all the way back into the territory days. Percy Pringle, You'll be missed. From all reports I've seen, one of the kindest, most down to earth guys in the business. A real class act. Rest in Peace.

I idolized him when I was a kid. For such a long time I would try and imitate him. It's seriously always hard seeing someone you adored from childhood up to young adulthood go.

RIP Paul, you'll never be forgotten.
