Horrible news, he used to give me the creeps as a kid.

Would be great if they used him in Taker's entrance at Mania, like showing him walking down the isle on the titantron.

Bet he goes into the HOF aswell next year.

The guy is a legend in every sense of the word. I'm extremely thankful I had an opportunity to witness his greatness during my lifetime as well as what he did for the Undertaker and Kane. I still remember the feud with Undertaker leading up to that memorable Badd Blood '97 debut of Kane like it was yesterday.

Rest in peace, good man.

Really sad news. Definitely one of the greatest managers ever.

He played a great character, and was a big part of both Undertakers and Kanes success. I loved The Funeral Parlor segments.
Btw. I could have sworn that his real name was Percy Pringle.

Not going to lie, I'm surprised he hasn't even gotten a mention for it. Man is so legendary.

He worked as Percy Pringle in a couple of the territories before WWE (USWA, WCCW, and maybe another one or two) and then I think he had a short run in TNA as Pringle too but I'm not 100% sure about that

First time I seen him was in USWA, he had bleached blond hair and insane facial expressions that would make me laugh, and when he made his debut in WWF, and I heard that voice...I was sold and an instant fan. After Heenan he was my favorite manager, and judging from the way his old co-horts describe, there couldn't have been a nicer guy.

He'll be remembered by all.

Horrible news. I thought that things were looking up for him over the past couple of years so sad to see that he has passed. I have never read one bad word about him and by all reports he was a true gentleman. Was great in his role as Undertaker's manager and was always a nice surprise seeing him show up in WWE over the past decade to manage Undertaker and/or Kane.

Definitely should be in the HOF and I wonder if WWE will add him this year or if it would be too soon?

RIP

I would say he was a true legend in every sense of the word who still had so much to give to wrestling as a whole, quite underrated imo. He better get on the next cover of Power Slam, other wise I will be mad!

Very sad, R.I.P and thanks for the memories.

Not sure about TNA but I know he had a promo or to with Cornette in ROH as Pringle.

Jax and I should do a memorial show for this. This news really saddens me as I'm a huge fan and a friend of him personally.

Whoa, just read this. While I'm not a fan of the Undertaker at this time, I did use to like him when he was in the Corporate Ministry with Bearer as manager and also when he was involved in that initial storyline he had with Kane. Long time ago.

Bittersweet memories.

Yeah, I met him several times and have had an ongoing email discussion with him for a few years. He's one of the nicest folks I've had to the chance to know.

Not to be an insensitive dick but it's kind of difficult to say this without being one, who else thinks WWE will use Bearer's death to get Punk some cheap heat.
