I'm usually quite caught up with these type of things. Paranormal will be an encompassing term for this thread because the topics I'll bring into here will vary from ghosts to ancient times and everyone's favorite aliens.

I'll start this off saying they just were able to break the second seal door in the Great Pyramid in the air shafts and more ancient artifacts have been discovered have been discovered. We are getting closer to solving the secrets of this majestic place.

More to come and since most people here don't believe in this stuff, I will just keep it all to this thread.

Skepticism will follow this thread.

That being said, a true skeptic loves to be proven wrong. It just makes things in life more fun.

I want to see a ghost, but haven't yet, I want to see aliens, but again, never seen one. Bigfoot and Ogo Pogo and Loch Ness. Would be awesome.

Too bad, nothing has been proven yet. The Pyramids of the Mayans or Aztecs are more interesting than Egypts.

Nobody wants to touch the Mayans stuff until after December. For fear that they might set something off and the end of the world is going to come.

oh yeah... it is September. We gettin closer.

I'd post my thoughts on the World ending in December but I just don't see it happening and I've done quite a bit of research.

I've done none. I just refuse to believe that the end of the world is going to be predicted correctly just like it has "every other time"

The Planet X theory is definitely the most interesting. Though I'm sure regardless of how elliptical this supposed planet's orbit is, we would no doubt be able to see it by now.

Fuck that 2012 movie though, they should have done a whole movie on just Planet X.

Don't tell them that. Then they'll think the world will never end and we'll all live forever.

Project X? :p

A guy under 30 not liking a movie with titties and drunks is paranormal imo.

Any theories about the end of the world are such garbage it's not even funny. All that happens at the end of the Mayan calender is that it resets and who ever even came up with this theory that an Ancient Society which has long since died out could predict the end of the world? As for the planet X theory, that's just not even possible. First of all, no matter how elliptical a planet's orbit was, there is no possible way that this planet is going to pass and hit Earth for the first time in our galaxy's 5 billion year existence this year. Second of all, any planet (apparently 5 times the size of Earth) that was moving toward Earth and was set to hit Earth in the next 100 days would be clearly visible in the sky with the naked eye since Saturn is visible with the naked eye and is way further away from the Earth than this planet would have to be to hit Earth and cause the end of the world in the next 100 days. Not only that but it would be causing irregularities in the orbits of the outer planets as it passed them which would be observed by scientists. Lastly, I know some say that this planet wouldn't actually hit the Earth but would stop the Earth's rotation and orbit. Well according to the universally accepted laws of physics, that's not even possible. The energy required to stop the Earth's rotation and orbit is so great it would heat the Earth up to a point that the oceans would start boiling.

As for the mysteries of the Great Pyramids, I find them quite interesting. It's always intriguing to learn secrets about what ancient societies, especially one's shrouded in as much mystery as Ancient Egypt.

Thanks, Ryan for that, I guess. I already knew all that, I just thought since I don't believe the World is going to end that I didn't need to explain that stuff.

I'll have a new article up soon in here anyways so we can detract from this end of the world stuff for a couple months.

I'd consider myself a bit of a massive, massive sceptic. I'm an atheist who believes in science. That being said I LOVE the paranormal and all this kinda stuff, might come from me growing up religious. Anyway I'm fascinated by this kinda stuff and those who believe it - and hopefully not in a condescending way. I like to debate it. Looking forward to seeing how this thread develops :)

Ryan - Actually the Planet X theory, aka Nibiru wouldn't be possible the variant of the theory which Sciencist took way more seriously is the Nemesis star theory, which hides with the Ooft Cloud only a Light year behind our sun, and this star comes close enough to our solar system like every million years, roughly every time the Earth has had an extinction peak, or that's what been calculated.

There's no evidence against the Nemesis star existing but none which proves it either, unless the Maya calender was a count down to this mysterious star becoming visible, but we're getting incredibly farfatched in that logic.

Hell, we could go into the Mayan spaceman + Alien theory or the fact the three Pyramids mimick the aligns of the planets, NO JOKES, the three pyramids are placed exactly I can't think which three.. Here's the image.

But also, there's an Eygptian looking structure discovered on Mars like last week as well.
