Otunga Takes Shot At TNA’s Impact Ratings

WWE Superstar David Otunga poked fun at the consistently flat ratings for TNA’s Impact Wrestling.
He wrote on Twitter, “If imitation is the highest form of flattery, I’m flatter than Impact’s ratings right now. #OtungaLaw.â€￾
This is apparently in response to a lawyer character for Bobby Roode appearing on Thursday’s Impact Wrestling.

He needs to get his head out of his ass, and get a reality check. Since last time I knew it was not copying to have a heel bring a lawyer to the ring to get out of a match. No one copied him. I mean if someone had the gim and was wrestling then I would agreed. But I think he has been taking some of charlie sheen's crack. next thing we will know is he will pull an angle and say his account been hacked.

I find this rather amusing. He's probably just pissy because he thinks he's being extremely original with this lawyer thing.

I was gonna say, Otunga really hasn't done much to help the E's ratings..so no room to talk.

David Otunga has worked his lawyer character greatly and he's a good heat magnet and since TNA seen it work, I think they copied it but that's nothing new as they always copy WWE.. TNA ratings suck and it's funny to see a superstar actually take a shot at it, I'm sure people at WWE will chat to him about it this week though as I don't think they're supposed to do that.

Could he also be referencing this too?

Does anyone have a link to a photo of the lawyer? If he was wearing a bowtie and was drinking coffee then yes it was a copy. Still everyone takes shots at TNA's ratings since they are so low so this is nothing new.

Yeah I guess so, oh well it's no big deal at the end of the day and the situation will be forgotten soon. The lawyer was an Australian wrestler named "Shane Haste". Accent sounds weird on tv!

It wasn't really a copy. Not the first time a heel has brought in a lawyer. Like Troy said, if he had been drinking from a thermos or wearing a bow tie, then I'd understand where Otunga is coming from. But he just seemed like a generic lawyer to me
