-Austin Aries defeated Kurt Angle. Angle had his hamstring taped up.

-James Storm defeated Bully Ray after Devon interfered and caused a DQ.

-Bobby Roode defeated Sting.

Semi-Finals
-Samoa Joe defeated Austin Aries.

-Bobby Roode defeated James Storm by submission.

Finals
-Bobby Roode defeated Samoa Joe to win the Heavyweight Tournament.

Not exactly sure how the concept works but I'm assuming Samoa Joe either won the #1 Contender's spot or something?

No idea what the hell are they doing and how this makes any sense with the tournament brackets but Samoa Joe winning is never a bad thing.

Matches will probably be pretty damn good though.

I'm not doubting the match quality but the concept of the PPV is hilarious if the winner just gets some bragging rights with no reward.

Roode vs Joe has that ever happened before? Sounds awesome, would really like to see that. Pointless tournament but some really good matchups here, would love to see Joe-Aries again as well.
