One Night Only: World Cup Of Wrestling *SPOILERS*

There are four teams of five members apiece. Each team consists of a Heavyweight, Tag Team, X Division Star and a Knockout. They will compete in a series of matches until the final two teams make it to a 10-person elimination Battle Royal. The teams are:

Revealed to be Ivelisse Velez

-Kenny King (USA) defeated Sonjay Dutt (International) in what was described as one of the best X Matches in recent memory.

-Magnus (UK) defeated Mr. Anderson (A&8).

-DOC and Knux (A&8) defeated Petey Williams and Funaki (International)

-Lei'D Tapa (International) defeated Hannah Blossom (UK)

-Wes Brisco (A&8) defeated Rockstar Spud (UK)

-Bad Influence (USA) defeated Rob Terry and Doug Williams (UK)

-Ivelisse Velez was revealed as the Knockout for the Aces and 8's. Ivelisse Velez (A&8) defeated Mickie James (US) after interference from the members of the Aces and 8s.

-James Storm (USA) defeated Judas Mesias (International)

-Team USA defeated Team Aces and 8s to win the World Cup of Wrestling.

I don't really understand how this concept works. So do the two teams who win the most matches, in this case USA and A&E's go into the Main Event Battle Royal with all their members in place? Like, Mickie & Anderson both lost their matches so do they get added back for the main event?

Also, Ivelisse being added to A&E's is a great move providing it's not a one night shot as for once with TNA it will actually make sense. Her vs Mickie will be worthy too.

I believe that all the members get added back in to make it a 5 on 5 match.

Well this sucks, only two countries represented and then one thrown together team of internationals and then a stable. Surely they could have created a Team Mexico. Funaki wrestling in TNA? That is what stood out to me most. Will be good seeing Judas Mesias back for one night as well. Smart move to add Ivelisse to Aces & Eights and it should continue on to their normal programming.

I liked Judas Messias when he was in TNA a few years ago. Haven't kept up with him since, so it'll be interesting to see him back in action.

Only match that intrigues me is King versus Dutt.

Nice to see Ive joins Aces&Eights, gets her on TV constantly even though she lost Gut Check

Judas Mesias was good in WSX as well, pity that he decided to leave TNA to head back to AAA and focus on that.

If you remember when she failed to get through on Gut Check, Tazz was saying how she was screwed and what not so there's the perfect in for her. I just want her on TV.

This is something that TNA can capitalize on. Didn't they do something similar to this on actual TV? If this wasn't just a one night deal it would be something to talk about. But it honestly just looks like something to get Aces & Eights over.

I said it for selfish reasons, I have easy access to TNA here in Australia on TV whereas I have no easy way to view AAA shows. If Judas Mesias was back in TNA I could watch him each week.

Airs on Friday. Just goes to show how utterly silly it was taping all these PPV's so far in advance because now he have a PPV where one of the teams is a damn stable who've disbanded over the past few months.
