RAW held in Madison Square Garden for the first time in its history is noticeable for two things. First it was the debut of one of Mick Foley's alter ego characters Cactus Jack whom beat Triple H in a street fight. Secondly it was the first time Stone Cold Steve Austin hit Mr McMahon with a stunner that kicked off the McMahon - Austin Feud.

Same. Goldberg and Austin back then was my dream match and used to write lots of fantasy booking and they were always main event . Smackdown Here comes the pain on PS was my first game I had and treasured it.

1977 – In a sold-out Madison Square Garden, Dusty Rhodes defeated WWWF Champion Superstar Billy Graham and Peter Maivia (grandfather of The Rock) beat George Steele with both matches ending via countout. The main event of the night saw Chief Jay Strongbow, Larry Zbyszko and Tony Garea beat Captain Lou Albano, Ken Patera and Stan Stasiak in a 3 out of 5 falls

1999 – In Charlotte, North Carolina, WWF Unforgiven was held to just under 16,000 fans at ringside. In the main event, Triple H won the vacant WWF Championship in a Six-Pack Challenge against The Rock, Mankind, Kane, The Big Show, and The British Bulldog with the special referee being ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. Unfortunately, the PPV will be remembered for the Kennel From Hell match between The Big Bossman and Al Snow, which was a cage match inside the hell in a cell structure with ‘vicious’ Rottweilers in between. Thankfully, the gimmick wasn’t used again
