On this day in history WWE signed Kanako Urai

Going under the name Asuka who has won many multiple titles in WWE.

Undertaker and Big Show v Rock and Mankind on Smackdown 99 in a WWF tag team title win for undertaker and big show ( the only ever tagteam title match ever done in this format)

In 1991 Bret ' Hitman ' Hart defeated Irwyin R Schister winning the KOTR in the only ever non televised show from this fine tournanment.

WWE held ground zero. In the first televised match between HBK and Taker. The match woke end uoma draw this leading too the Hell in a Cell the next month!!!

I keep waiting for it to suck, I did enjoy the original few months and Becky feud more than currently but I can't really say she hasn't done her job well. Still not high on her getting the belt but if it works out for Tiffany I can't hate too much either

The Bex stuff was wild, I remember them setting up that match on Day 1 I think it was assuming it was going to be a routine Bex win heading into Mania and closing the feud with Nia, but nope

I'm not big on her getting the belt either really but I can only assume it's just to transition it over to Tiff who becomes a face out of it.

Back on that subject tho, I really am curious how babyface Tiffany works. I don't think it'll be a problem for the crowd to get behind her, at least at first and her in-ring is already kinda babyface, but I do not know how she's cutting promos lol

Yeah nothing about her character screams babyface to me but even putting that aside, SmackDown is already loaded with faces with Bayley/Bianca/Jade/Naomi

I feel like it would work best if she was only a face for the Nia feud and then went back heel once they're done and Nia goes to Raw or something instead

 

[Dale]

A good part of me still thinks she's cashing in on the Raw side and this whole Nia stuff is a diversion. She'll have more breathing room being the #2 regardless of whether they goes heel, babyface or a blend of both.
