For more information about ROH on HDNet check out http://www.hd.net/ringofhonor.html.

March 19th: A very interesting Four Corner Survival has been signed for the April 3rd Ring of Honor debut in Houston. One half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions, El Generico, will tangle with Claudio Castagnoli, Brent Albright, and reigning NWA World Champion, Blue Demon, Jr.! There is the obvious tension between Castagnoli and Albright, and Generico is well-versed in this type of match, but how will Blue Demon adapt?

March 19th: Just signed for the April 4th “Take No Prisoners” Pay-Per-View Taping is an international singles contest. Roderick Strong recently returned from a tour of Pro Wrestling NOAH and is looking to raise his stock higher than ever before, and he feels that a victory over AAA star Alex Koslov is a sure fire way to do that. Koslov, meanwhile, would love nothing more than to defeat Strong and earn himself a full time spot in ROH. It’ll be Strong versus Koslov, on ROH PPV!

March 19th: The following talents have been added to the Ring of Honor Wrestling on HDNet National Television Tapings on April 9th and 10th at the Arena in South Philly: Kenny Omega, Jerry Lynn, The Necro Butcher, Jimmy Jacobs and Brodie Lee of the AOTF, Austin Aries, and Claudio Castagnoli. We’ll have more names next week and the six TV Main events soon!

March 19th: ROH officials have been informed that former WWE World Tag Team Champion, Sylvain Grenier, has been publicly saying some unkind words about Ring of Honor, and in particular, Kevin Steen and El Generico. More on this as news becomes available.

March 19th: Just added to the ROH return to Montreal and Markham on April 17th and 18th: The American Wolves – Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, “Shooter” Brent Albright, and Jay Briscoe. We’ll have more names and match announcements next week!

March 19th: ROH is happy to welcome the host of LXTV’s “1st Look New York”, George Oliphant, to the Seventh Anniversary Show this Saturday! He and an NBC film crew recently toured the ROH Training Academy, and shot a documentary piece on Ring of Honor that will air sometime in April. For more information on 1st Look New York, visit http://lxtv.com/1stlookny/

March 19th: To celebrate our 7th Anniversary we're offering 20-25% Off all orders placed this weekend at www.rohwrestling.com. This sale is good on all DVD's, live event tickets, apparel, & more. pwinsider said Grenier will be heeling it up for the next Canada tour. those Houston shows are shaping up although i think there is a better way to use Claudio,Generico and Albright than a four way.

Both Colt Cabana and Jimmy Rave are backstage at the Hammerstein Ballroom and will be a part of tonight's Seventh Anniversary show. Cabana cannot appear on TV or PPV as of now, due to his WWE no-compete clause. Rave's TNA contract was set to expire on March 25th, and he asked for an early release since they weren't going to re-sign him.

- ROH Champion Nigel McGuinness will compete tonight as well as at the ROH PPV taping in Houston. But after that, it looks as if he will have to have surgery, and that could keep him out 4-6 months.

March 24th: A big thank you to all of the fans that attended the live events in Elizabeth, PA and in New York City, as well as the numerous fans that watched the premiere episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” on HDNet. All of us at ROH are unbelievably grateful for all of the wonderful support we’ve received and we look forward to working harder than ever to bring you the best professional wrestling possible. The 7th Anniversary show was special for a number of reasons, and the debut of our television show is undoubtedly one of the proudest moments in company history. Everyone is ROH is extremely proud of how the series has started, and we know it will only get better. The next set of HDNet National Television tapings take place at the Arena in South Philly on April 9th and 10th. Tickets are available to both tapings at www.rohwrestling.com . For more information about ROH on HDNet, please visit http://www.hd.net/ringofhonor.html .

March 24th: In case you missed the announcement on the main page at ROHWrestling.com, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair will be appearing in New York City when Ring of Honor returns to the Manhattan Center on Saturday, June 13th. Tickets for the live event and for the special meet and greet autograph session are on sale now at www.rohwrestling.com .

March 24th: Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana is back in ROH and he returned in a huge way at the 7th Anniversary Show in NY this past Saturday. Now he will make his way to Houston for ROH’s Texas debut on April 3rd and 4th. On April 3rd as part of “Supercard of Honor IV”, he has signed to take on D’Lo Brown in singles competition! Brown showed what appear to be his true colors at the 7th Anniversary show, cheating to pin Jay Briscoe, but only after giving what everyone thought was a heart-felt speech about being truly happy to be in ROH. Now the time to talk is over, and he’ll face another true-blue ROH performer in Cabana and Houston will be the site of the action! Will Brown pull another fast one?

March 24th: Cabana has requested, and ROH has granted, a special match for the April 4th “Take No Prisoners” card in Houston. It will be a clash of Second City Saints, as Cabana will face his trainer and mentor, Ace Steel! Obviously not strangers, and both with a world of respect for the other, this contest promises to be a special one for both competitors. Tickets are on sale now at www.rohwrestling.com .

March 24th: Colt Cabana has been added to both events in Canada starting April 17th in Montreal and April 18th in Markham, Ontario along with Dayton, OH on April 24th. Cabana will also return home to Chicago on Saturday, April 25th, almost two years to the day of the last time he competed in the Windy City for ROH. Tickets for all four of these events are on sale now at www.rohwrestling.com .

March 24th: The Necro Butcher came out of NYC with a severe laceration on his foot resulting from a dive from the top rope to the floor where his foot struck the steel barricade surrounding the ringside area. The cut, which required medical attention, will not keep Necro down and only adds to the myriad of scars left physically and emotionally by Jimmy Jacobs and his Age of the Fall. Now on April 4th in Houston as part of “Take No Prisoners”, Necro will have the chance to make Jacobs pay for all he’s done. It will be Necro versus Jacobs in a No Disqualification War!

March 24th: More history was made last weekend as Prince Nana brought the Embassy back to ROH, complete with his “crown jewel”, Jimmy Rave! With the monstrous Bison Smith and the thieving Ernie Osiris, it appears as though Nana is well on his way to making a statement. His claims that President Obama’s stimulus package is the source for his newly-regained financial strength are suspect, but what is clear is that the Embassy is back and looking for trouble. Jimmy Rave will appear in both Montreal and Toronto on April 17th and 18th, as well as in Dayton and Chicago on April 24th and 25th, and there’s no telling what Prince Nana has up his sleeve next!

March 24th: The saga between the American Wolves and the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Kevin Steen and El Generico, took a bloody and violent turn last Saturday. After escaping NYC with the titles, an injured Kevin Steen was brutally assaulted by Richards and Edwards, leaving him strapped to the ring cables and bloodied. Not only is his knee in a state of disarray, but the psyche of both Generico and Steen is also on the frits. Just signed for 4/4 in Houston is a huge 8-Man Tag Team attraction with plenty of bad blood to go around. It will be Kevin Steen, El Generico, Jay Briscoe, and rising lucha star, Magno, against the confident American Wolves, Chris Hero, and as the second part of his “Sweet-n-Sour tryout”, Incognito. Steen and Generico have never wanted to throttle Sweet-n-Sour more, Briscoe is still seeing red, and Magno never gets enough of Incognito! The fight rages on in Houston!

March 24th: Matt “M-Dogg” Cross impressed in his ROH return, and will be in action on April 24 in Dayton! We’ll have more talent and match announcements coming soon right here in the wire!

March 24th: Less than 24 hours remain in the "7th Anniversary Sale" to save 20-25% Off Your Next Order. Full details on the sale along with the discount codes can be found here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2689 .

- March 25th: Another grudge tag team affair has been signed for "Supercard of Honor IV" on 4/3 in Houston. Austin Aries and Jimmy Jacobs want to hurt Tyler Black more than anyone else, problem is they can't seem to keep from battling each other along the way. They'll have another opportunity when ROH debuts in Houston as they'll try to team up to face Tyler Black and the Necro Butcher in tag team action. Jacobs' AOTF is crumbling all around him. Can he resurrect it before Tyler and Necro put it out of his misery?

- Speaking of Aries, in Pittsburgh he forged some sort of friendship with the "Pretty Boy Pit Bull" Kenny King and "Addicted to Love" Rhett Titus. Titus will be in action in Houston as he'll take on the powerful Erick Stevens. Will "Addicted to Love" be learning some of the tricks of the trade from the "greatest man that ever lived"?

- A huge Four Corner Survival match has been inked for "Take No Prisoners" on 4/4. It will be a hard hitting affair as it will pit "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson against Erick Stevens, Jerry Lynn, and D'Lo Brown. Brown recently upset the ROH faithful by blatantly pulling Jay Briscoe's trunks to secure victory in New York. Will those kinds of tactics work against the veteran Lynn, the freakishly strong Stevens, or the "Best In The World"? This match will have a variety of styles in play, and a lifetime of experience. A win by any of the men could propel them toward a higher slot on the pecking order.

- Once more the ROH and NWA World Champions will share the ring, but this time in an international tag team contest. Just signed for "Take No Prisoners" on April 4th is the team of ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness and frequent partner, "The Most Money Making Man" Claudio Castagnoli versus "Shooter" Brent Albright and NWA World Champion Blue Demon, Jr. Albright has plenty of history with McGuinness and Castagnoli, as it could be argued that Castagnoli cost Brent the ROH Title. Blue Demon, Jr. wanted to face the best that ROH had to offer; and it doesn't get any better than the ROH World Champion.

- Just a reminder that the Pay-Per-View taping next Saturday in Houston, TX has been changed to a 2:00 PM start time. We look forward to seeing everybody in attendance.

- ROH officials are happy to announce that standout Canadian talents Frankie the Mobster, the Super Smash Brothers, and LuFisto will be a part of ROH's return to Montreal on April 17 at Centre Jean-Claude Malepart. Tickets are on sale now at www.rohwrestling.com. ROH officials are also looking into the statements that former WWE Tag Team Champion, Sylvain Grenier, is allegedly making about ROH, Kevin Steen, and El Generico. More on this as it develops. We'll have the first match announcements for Montreal and Toronto right here in Monday's newswire!

- Kevin Steen and El Generico are incensed that they were decimated at the hands of the American Wolves in New York City; bloodied and driven through tables. And their rage has been conveyed to the ROH Booking Committee in a big way. They have flat out demanded another tag team match against the Wolves, and they don't want a regular match. They want to give the Wolves the receipt of a lifetime. Steen and Generico have challenged Richards and Edwards to a "Tables Are Legal" match and they want the world to see it! They want ROH to broadcast the destruction on National TV! Steen and Generico have demanded that this match be a television main event on HDNet! We'll have the Wolves answer soon, right here in the wire!

- We have two new specials running exclusively at ROHWrestling.com. You can currently purchase over 25 Ring of Honor DVD's from 2006 for only $8 each. You can also get general admission tickets for all upcoming events for only $10 each. For complete details click here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2699 . This is only a TWO DAY SALE so don't delay.

- In the next edition of the Newswire, look for more Dayton/Chicago talent as well as the 1st of the next 6 Television Main Events to be filmed on April 9th and 10th in Philly! Tickets for all four of those big events are on sale now at rohwrestling.com. Tickets start as low as $10 each.

Good to see that ROH plans on giving us big matches on tv.

WHAT THE FUCK

does this mean lynn is winning the belt the night before?

Soulpower

Guest
^^^Not exactly.

Nigel could retain against Lynn, drop the title to Black after the same match (Who still has a title shot), and we get KENTA-Black (Two champions), vs Nakajima and Aries (Since Aries and Black have some history, that could be Tyler's first feud with the belt).

At least I'm hoping something like that happens, because I refuse to believe that Pearce would telegraph a title change so easily.

You might be right SP, I can't believe Pearce would telegraph it like this either.

Not too impressed with the Take no prisoners card. Some good matches, but no title matches, no major grudge matches or fueds. Just a bunch of multiman matches.

- March 27th: ROH officials are happy to announce the first three of the next 6 television main events to be filmed for Ring of Honor Wrestling on HDNet. The next National Television taping will take place on April 9th and 10th at The Arena in South Philadelphia. Tickets are on sale now and available at ROHWrestling.com. These three main event matches will take place on April 9th.

- Roderick Strong was on a very successful tour of Pro Wrestling NOAH when ROH filmed its first 6 weeks of television, and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that could dispute either his importance or dedication to Ring of Honor. ROH officials are very happy that Strong will be at the next tapings, and not only that, he'll be main-eventing one of the first 3 weeks to be filmed. ROH officials decided that his opponent should be one that will bring the best out of Strong. The ROH Booking Committee has decided that that man is none other than Austin Aries. The history between these two is well-documented, and we can't think of a better match to show the world the style that made ROH famous. These two just tangled on March 20th in Pittsburgh, with Aries getting the duke with some help from his new found friends, Titus and King. Will that trend continue on National TV?

- The second of the first 3 main events to be filmed is a rematch from the 6th week to be filmed at the inaugural television tapings on March 1st. It is match-up of arguably the two most popular competitors in ROH at this time, and without question, two of the most talented athletes in all professional wrestling. One of these men has been World Champion the other aspires to accomplish the same thing. Once more, it will be Bryan Danielson and Tyler Black one-on-one for the world to admire. There is no hype necessary anytime these two step into the ring.

- The final of the three main events to be filmed on April 9th will feature the first time that the ROH World Tag Team Champions will appear together on Ring of Honor Wrestling on HDNet. During the first set of tapings, El Generico was conspicuously absent to the dismay of many. Now he will be at the side of "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen, and they will oppose one of the best up-and-coming tag teams in wrestling in a rematch from Indianapolis on March 14th– Kenny King and Rhett Titus. King and Titus fell short in Indy, but now they're apparently under the tutelage of Austin Aries. That alone could make a huge difference in this contest.

- The "Triple Savings Sale" returns this weekend at www.rohwrestling.com. The first part of the sale is 30% Off All Live Event Tickets. This is a great opportunity to save on tickets for Ring of Honor live action in your area. The second part of the sale features over 60 DVD's priced at $5 Each (or less). Includes in the sale are many Straight Shootin' titles, FIP DVD's, and ROH Best of DVD's. The third part of the sale allows you to save 15% Off Your Next Order. You can use this part of the sale to save even more money off the previous deals mentioned, or you can save on almost everything else we sell. Complete details on the sale can be found here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2151.

- ROH is poised to return to the wonderful fans in Dayton and Chicago on April 24th and 25th. Already signed for both events: Bryan Danielson, Kevin Steen, El Generico, Jerry Lynn, Chris Hero, and making their Dayton and Chicago debut, The Dark City Fight Club. Tickets for both events are on sale now at ROHWrestling.com. We'll have more talent announcements soon right here in the Newswire!

- You can catch Ring of Honor Wrestling on HDNet Saturday night at 8:00 PM. In action will be Kevin Steen vs. Eddie Edwards, Sara Del Rey vs. Daizee Haze, Claudio Castagnoli vs. Alex "Sugarfoot" Payne, and the main event features ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness vs. Jay Briscoe. For more information visit http://www.hd.net/ringofhonor.html. HDNet is available in the U.S. and Canada on Bright House Networks, DIRECTV, DISH Network, Charter Communications, Comcast (Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, & Minneapolis), Insight Communications, Mediacom Communications, Time Warner Cable, NCTC Affiliated cable systems, Verizon Fios, Bell Express Vu, Star Choice, Shaw, and Cogeco.

- Don't forget that Ring of Honor is happy to be working with Booker T and the Booker T Fights for Kids Foundation in support of the "Legends of Wrestling" Fanfest, taking place at the George R. Brown Convention Center on April 3rd in Houston from 1-8pm. General Admission Booker T Fanfest tickets are free to anyone who has already purchased a ticket to "Supercard of Honor IV", taking place that night at the Convention Center! For more information on this great event, please visit www.bookertlow.com.

- This week's version of the ROH Video Wire can been viewed here: http://www.rohvideos.com/watch?v=sM4itgq2IPA. You'll hear comments from the returning Colt Cabana, Davey Richards, Bryan Danielson, Julius Smokes, plus see highlights from last weekend's live event in Elizabeth, PA.

- We'll be back next week with the first look at the cards for Montreal on April 17th and Toronto on April 18th, as well as news on the second three TV main events to be filmed on April 10th in Philly!

- Signed for April 17th in Montreal as part of ROH's big return to the great white north are two matches. Prince Nana brought Jimmy Rave back to ROH, and Colt Cabana spoiled that return. Nana says it should have been a return to glory, one of reverence. But in New York it wasn't, so now the "crown jewel" will come to Montreal with a purpose – defeat Cabana and receive the adoration he deserves. It'll be Cabana versus Rave in Montreal! Also signed for Montreal is a SHIMMER showcase match, pitting Daizee Haze against LuFisto! The Haze just was successful in freeing Delirious from the clutches of the Age of the Fall, and now she'll tangle with one of Canada's finest wrestling women!

- Signed for suburban Toronto on April 18th are two big encounters. Roderick Strong and Jay Briscoe had a fantastic match in suburban St. Louis that saw Roddy earn the victory. The ROH faithful gave both men a standing ovation after the match, and both men shook hands. Briscoe immediately told Roddy that he wanted to run it back, and both men have signed the dotted line for Toronto! It'll be Strong/Briscoe II on 4/18! Also signed is a special Six Man Tag Team attraction. In Pittsburgh, Austin Aries exposed an alliance of sorts with Kenny King and Rhett Titus. Now they'll all work together for the first time in ROH as they will oppose the team of Kenny Omega and the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Kevin Steen and El Generico! Aries and Omega have battled on National TV, and the champs have faced, and beaten, Titus and King. This time it's three-on-three, and it happens on April 18th in Markham! Tickets are now on sale for 30% off to both events in Canada at www.rohwrestling.com!

Awesome!

I was hoping Sonjay would have a few matches in ROH, I wonder who he will be taking on. Also, good to hear that they have made Rave Vs Cabana and Roddy Strong Vs Jay Briscoe, those two matches sound and should be great.

- April 1st: We're only two days away from one of the biggest weekends of the year as ROH debuts in a big way in Houston! Don't forget that everyone with a ticket to Friday's "Supercard of Honor IV" event gets free admission to Booker T's Legends of Wrestling Fanfest earlier that day at the George R. Brown Convention Center. For more information, please visit www.bookertlow.com. Also, don't forget about the official ROH after-party on Friday night after the event, hosted by Griff's, Houston's Oldest Sports Bar! Several of your favorite ROH stars will be on hand, and we've been told that a special collector's edition ROH autograph card commemorating the date will be available that night at Griff's. Come and enjoy the food and atmosphere and get autographs from the stars of Ring of Honor! For a look at the menu available at Griff's, visit www.griffshouston.net.

- A long standing rivalry has finally been signed for the April 10th National Television Tapings at the Arena in South Philly. One of wrestling's most heated rivalries comes to ROH and the first meeting in Ring of Honor between Chris Hero and Eddie Kingston will take place on National Television! Hero recently said that "now isn't the time for Eddie Kingston, now is the time for that Young Knockout Kid". Kingston doesn't feel that way, and he knows he has to prove himself to the fans of ROH. Kingston told ROH officials that a win over his hated rival will be more than enough to prove to the world that he belongs in Ring of Honor. Hero and Larry Sweeney are not happy about this match, and are protesting to the ROH Booking Committee. We'll have news on more matches signed for the April 9th and 10th HDNet TV Tapings in the next Newswire.

- Two big tag team matches have been signed for April 17th in Montreal. The brash team of Kenny King and Rhett Titus have told ROH officials that they are learning more than ever under the tutelage of Austin Aries. Now they'll get the chance to prove it as they have signed on to face Delirious and The Necro Butcher! Titus has had his share of run-ins with Necro in the past, and he could be looking for a little retribution! Also signed for April 17th, two huge feuds have apparently come together in one big tag team battle. Tyler Black wants the blood of Jimmy Jacobs on his hands. Brent Albright wants the same from Claudio Castagnoli. Neither Jacobs nor Castagnoli were willing to sign on for a one-on-one encounter, but after a conference call with ROH officials, both men agreed to a tag team match. It seems like both Jacobs and Castagnoli are playing mind games, but its fine as it'll be Black and Albright facing Jacobs and Castagnoli on April 17th!

- Speaking of Claudio Castagnoli, he's signed on for a very high profile encounter in Toronto on April 18th. Castagnoli is fond of letting everyone know that he's "very European", and now he's going to face a proud Chicagoan as it'll be Castagnoli versus Colt Cabana in suburban Toronto! Cabana made a splash in his ROH return, and now he's making moves to climb the ROH ladder once again. A victory over Castagnoli would do wonders to raise his stock!

- Also signed for April 18th in Markham is a serious grudge match. Delirious fell short in his bid for revenge against Jimmy Jacobs in Indianapolis on March 14. Now he'll have another opportunity, as it will be Jacobs/Delirious II on April 18th north of the border. Their first encounter was a No Disqualification battle that saw Jacobs drive the Masked Lizard Man through a table before locking in his dreaded Guillotine Choke for the win. Delirious was understandably distraught afterward and now, more than ever, wants revenge. As a result, he's asked ROH officials for, and been granted, a Markham Street Fight on April 18th!

- More stars of ROH have been confirmed for the ROH return to Dayton and Chicago on April 24th and 25th. Just signed: The American Wolves with Larry Sweeney, Tyler Black, Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, Jimmy Jacobs, Rhett Titus, and Claudio Castagnoli! We'll have the first matchups for Dayton and Chicago next week in the Newswire!

- There are a few hours remaining in the "Triple Savings Sale". You have until 9 PM EST tonight to take advantage of three special offers. Details on the sale can be found here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2151.
