Ugh. No. They have to say lots of words. Why does HHH want Taker? Why is Taker up for the match? Why are they both ignoring the people they obviously should be targeting? Yay, sure, big matchup, but tell a fucking story for christ's sake.
- 10 year anniversary from WM 17 (the start of Taker's streak being mentioned)
- HHH has only one win in history versus the Deadman character
- Taker retired Shawn
- BOD vs Power Trip
- Two longest tenured vets in WWE currently

Shit writes itself and in case you missed it the fans bought in like that because those two are the greatest wrestlers left on the roster when you remember what all they mean to WWE ;)

No it's not hard to set up, but it's rushed and totally stupid and just goes to prove WWE were scared shitless of drawing shit buys.

- 10 year anniversary from WM 17 (the start of Taker's streak being mentioned) Also the 10 year anniversary of Eddie Guerrero vs. Test, nobody gives a shit.
- HHH has only one win in history versus the Deadman character I don't care
- Taker retired Shawn Okay, HHH, say that.
- BOD vs Power Trip You're on point #4 and already horribly reaching.
- Two longest tenured vets in WWE currently Headline: OLD PEOPLE FIGHT EACH OTHER FOR NO REASON!

Okay, you make some very weak points, I'm sure you must have something for them to do to tie this all together and create an actual reason for this match...

Shit writes itself

Oh.

It is WrestleMania, not some other fucking ppv where you thrust Sheamus and Wade in the main event while also having Miz, Punk, and Del Rio into other high profile matches. No one with an ounce of business or common sense would expect them to not have a true headline match for Mania to get everyone on the roster the best possible payday and give the younger stars the biggest possible audience.

If it wasn't this, it would damn sure be Cena vs Orton and we all know it.

This. I know the match is huge, but why the hell now? Not 6 weeks before Mania, it's stupid.

Other than that, how has Raw been?

Sheamus hitting rock bottom from his push. Sad.

People want HHH to have a high profile match against the guy jobbing to Henry, at not just any ppv but WM and even lose to him (Sal I'm looking at you)

No one with an ounce of business or common sense would expect them to not have a true headline match for Mania to get everyone on the roster the best possible payday and give the younger stars the biggest possible audience.

So...WWE didn't have an ounce of business sense in, say, 2003 when they put him in the fucking opener with Big Show and A-Train, or in 2006, when they put Taker with fucking Mark Henry?

Wrestlemania, believe it or not, would survive even if you don't shoehorn Taker into a match with another old famous guy.
