I don't care if they go anywhere in the Playoffs, I'm not expecting them to. But after being a Rangers fan since 2000, and just missing their Playoff season in 1999, I'd love to see the Rangers make it. btw, if their hitting comes back, they'll probably go to the ALCS.

Cubs/White Sox start tomorrow, it's time to get into baseball again. :smile_1: I can't wait. .500 ain't too bad at this point. Fukadome is showing some promise in center after sliding last year in right. Soriano is Soriano (mixed bag. >_>) And crazy ass Milton Bradley's not suspended. Everything's pretty cool for now. :y:

And crazy ass Milton Bradley's not suspended.

At least he only did one crazy thing with the Rangers. He was in KC, and he heard some announcer was talking about how Hamilton cleaned his life up and said that Milton should do the same...he took it personally, and tried to kick the guys ass. He had to be held back by Ron Washington and Jon Daniels.

I think it's funny that there aren't any NL fans on here.

Pudge is about to break the record for games caught, and he gets to break it in Arlington against the Rangers.

I'm surprised that Salty is still leading Varitek...it's only a matter of time before the Boston homers start voting :(

The guy has a short fuse. I'm waiting for the dude to just start ripping out the ivy in right one day. But to be fair, he's actually done pretty well on the field. As long as Kosuke doesn't diss him in his native tongue we'll be fine.

I think it's funny that there aren't any NL fans on here.

I know, right? :( The Jays are my AL team and they won today so at least I won't feel completely left out.

I fuckin' hate game postponements due to rain! And Sosa tested positive for 'roids in '03? D: This is like, the worst baseball day of the year or something.

Yeah, I was kinda dissapointed to learn that Sosa had taken roids. I somewhat expected it, but it still sucks. Just like I said with McGwire and Bonds, just becuase they took steriods before it became banned by MLB, doesn't mean they should be left out of the Hall of Fame....except McGwire, he never really put up the stats.

What a fucking joke. Closer Scott Downs, Pitcher Casey Janssen, and the best pitcher in baseball, Roy Halladay, all went on the Disabled list today.
That's a whole fuckign rotation on the DL.
Halladay (2 weeks or so)
Marcum (out for year)
McGowan (out for year)
Litsch (out for year)
Janssen (out for a month)

I've never seen anything like it. The Jays are going down now. It's nice that we've been able to hang in there up until now, with our number 2, 3, and 4 pitchers on the DL, but you can only keep that up for so long, and now joined by the ace.. It was a nice ride, but there's no way a team that already had 3 of their top 4 guys on the DL can survive without their true ace. At least all the guys will be halthy next year, and in addition to them, the young guys who have stepped up this year (Cecil, Romero, Mills) will be around as well. We'll have a ton of great pitching.
