Essien is far from amazing, a couple of years ago maybe but definitely not now.

That Javi Garcia deal isn't official yet.

These are though:
- Dimitar Berbatov, permanent move from Man Utd to Fulham.
- Maicon, permanent move from Inter Milan to Man City.
- Giovani Dos Santos, permanent move from Tottenham to Real Mallorca.
- Rafael Van Der Vaart, permanent move from Tottenham to Hamburg.

Hugo Lloris is allegedly at Tottenham's ground to finish his move and Joao Moutinho isn't far behind.

I don't know if it was just me overrating these guys from Football Manager stats but £3m for Maicon and £9.5 for Lloris seems ridiculously low.

No idea why Arsenal fans are going mad though, since when have we been ones to sign loads of players on deadline day? It happened last year but we hadn't made any signings till then, this yr we've had Cazorla, Giroud and Podolski.

Oh, and Bendtner leaving permanently for Juve is my favourite deal this window.

£3m for Maicon IS ridiculously low. Guy is one of the best wing-backs in the world.

Newspaper headlines in Portugal were already reading "Javi García already a City player", so I assumed the deal was confirmed.

Also, Tottenham are getting a good deal with Moutinho. Him and Bale on midfield together should be awesome.

Maicon's 31 and probably on a massive wage. Inter probably wanted him off their books.

Essien maybe going to Real Madrid. Spurs have signed Lloris from Lyon. Moutinho is likely not going to end up at Spurs as they're going after Clint Dempsey.

Also, :lmao at Chelsea losing the UEFA Super Cup 4-1 to Atletico Madrid

He didn't leave permanently. It's a season loan that I do hope turns into a permanent one, otherwise we'll be stuck with this saga again next season.

I'm a little disappointed we signed nobody on deadline day as I was hoping for at least one signing, but Wilshere's return will be just as good as a new signing come October.

Although Mancini landed Scott Sinclair, Javi Garcia, Maicon and Nastasic(sp?) he's said he isn't happy as he didn't get any of his top targets. They were Van Persie, Hazard, Javi Martinez and Daniele De Rossi.

Pleased with Everton's window. We've bought in Naismith, Pienaar, Mirallas, Oviedo & a couple of youngsters in Matthew Kennedy & Ben Mclaughlin so we've really strengthened our team as well as kept our key players. We're looking good atm

Disappointing first three games for QPR, never expected to get thumped 5-0 by Swansea and should have done better in the one all draw against Norwich. Hoping that things start to click and QPR can start to move away from the relagation zone because I don't want to go through what happened last year again. Surprised that only one team has won all their games so far after just three rounds.

Liverpool unable to find the net. Arsenal aren't too much better but they got a lucky goal and another that was fairly straight forward. Diabi and Carzola in the midfield is a good tandem.

So do any of the haters wanna speak up now or have they all gone quiet?

Man Utd struggling against a newly promoted team (with basically the exact same squad they had in League 1) and yet we havent even conceded yet.....

Didn't see us beating Southampton, especially after RVP missed the penalty which would've seen us equalize. But RVP got his hat-trick and we got the win in the end.

Arsenal are still behind United in the League.

We are also undefeated, haven't conceded and have played harder games than Man U.

You need to concentrate on being the best team in your own city before comparing yourself to Arsenal.

Same applies to Liverpool.
