Well... It's an unsigned opponent, but it was someone who could have a competitive match with her. And watching a really solid five minute bout end in a Kai victory was about as satisfying as you hope it would be

I say someone needs to create a Batman Arkham-style
game called "Dakota Kai Kicks EVERYONE" where you play
as the Captain of Team Kick as she kicks her way through the
performance center, NXT, SDL & RAW on her way to in-ring
glory as she fights the evil Alexa Bitch at Wrestlemania as the
final boss...with Ronda Rousey as a hidden FINAL final boss
the night after on RAW.

Think Batman Arkham City meets Lollipop Chainsaw meets
Dark Souls...

Or I could have finally gone completely mad...

Thinking back on this, it really struck me how much better it is when you have cocky heels like Bianca and Shayna who actually have a strong (unbeaten?) record of wins, do something else on top of that to piss you off, and are THEN cocky on top of that... Instead of winning all their matches via bullshit and then running from fair fights. This works so much better.

Feels like most of NXT's top heels are legitimately hard to beat, except maybe Velveteen has taken one too many L's. Guys like Lars and Ciampa are really tough outs + Adam Cole can legitimately win matches but uses his friends because he can, not because he has to

So this week on NXT...

~ Dakota Kai lost...BOOOOOO!!!!
~ I will admit Lacey Evans has improved...she's better than Carmella at least...
~ Chris Hero returned from the basketball court...
~ War Raiders said stuff...
~ & Kairi Sane is fighting Shayna Baszler at Brooklyn 4...can we put the belt
on her & move Shayna to the main roster already?

Seriously though...Sane wins the title at Brooklyn 4, Ronda wins the title
from Alexa @Summerslam, Shayna debuts on the main roster the next
night & attacks Ronda...Predicting it right now.

I finally got caught up on NXT as I have about a month's worth of episodes and I have to say NXT still continues to show why it is better than RAW and Smackdown, but anyways let's talk about NXT Takeover Brooklyn.

The card right now is as follows:

Tommaso Ciampa vs Johnny Gargano for the NXT Championship
Adam Cole vs Ricochet for the NXT North American Championship

Velveeten Dream vs EC3 standard singles match

Spoiler: My predections

Shayna over Kairi. I know that seems odd because of my hate of Shayna, but that has changed after watching some of her indy stuff and interviews about professional wrestling. Though Sane wins I would really happy, but fine either way, and I know this match should be hard hitting.

Ciampa over Johnny. I picked Ciampa over Johnny mainly to due to the fact WWE wants to keep this feud going as long as they can, which is fine, but I know personally I will get bored over it soon enough.

Adam over Rico. I think there are going to build this feud up and have Rico maybe win it at the Takeover before WM, but who knows. I just feel like Adam will retain.

TUE over MM. Again, TUE has been being booked as the dominant force in NXT and such. Also, fun fact Strong is married to one of the four horsewomen of MMA.

EC3 over VD. Why, just because.

is injured & is missing Brooklyn 4...

I mean I'm sure Ciampa vs. Gargano Mk.3 will be
awesome...but damn...that injury could not have
