Pretty WIFOMy but I feel like Gacy would totally pull the trigger on a dying mate as scum for brownie points lol

I think I'm leaning towards this, actually. Otherwise what I'm left with is a townie that thinks it's a good idea to take the lynch away to favour a 1v1, all in the last 12 hours when a chunk of the playerbase will struggle to be around. I can see the idea being scum trying t distance at the end, though it would be so flagrant and on the nose I feel like I'm assuming incompetence.

I like your suggestion to have John win the Duel and be the lynch, pretty wacky day 1 though.
