Re: NFL Thread: 2012 Preseason
Colts will win more games than they did last year. Going out on a limb here I know.
If Russell Wilson starts, I like Seattle. Even with Flynn this team can be good. I'm not huge on their WRs, but a motivated Lynch is a tough load. He's paid now so will he be motivated? Their defense is solid and they play in a weak division. They're still probably WC at best since SF defense seems for real.
I'm high on Chicago too. Bush can keep Forte fresh and bang in TDs. I like Cutler to Marshall. Those douchebags were made for each other. The Bears D has a lot of pride and that window is closing with Urlacher, Briggs, Peppers, and Tillman not getting any younger. Plus Devin Hester you are ridiculous.
Green Bay is still gonna Green Bay. They'll score a ton and give up a ton.
I like the Ravens a lot this year. Defense should still be pretty stout even without Suggs. What has impressed me is the offense though. Flacco could have a big year if Cam Cameron stops sucking and opens this offense up. I like Torrey Smith to have a big year and Ray Rice is arguably the best RB in the league. Not sure about their offensive line though.
But a sleeper? I'd like the Raiders if Palmer didn't throw non stop INTs and McFadden could play all 16. I'd like KC if Matt Cassell could be good. I'll just say that Cleveland will be somewhat competitive lol. I just don't see many AFC teams rising up save maybe Buffalo, but it's Buffalo. That's why I can't say Cleveland, because it's Cleveland. Of course if ARIZONA can go to the Super Bowl, any team can.
