Which I don't really get if the guy is that desperate to want to not be on that team then why waste a roster spot on this guy. Would be better to get something for him than nothing. If he does happen to retire I just see him coming back to sign with the niners.

ESPN needs to stop thinking the Cardinals QB issue is bigger than the Vikings anyways. Just comparing myself living here in North Dakota to when I lived 2 miles from the Cardinals played in Arizona I can see their is a much bigger fan base for the Vikings. Also, Phoenix is like 50 times bigger than Grand Forks. Don't give me it's been two years since Kurt retired and one since Brett retired, because even that is technically wrong. Favre is a retiring, publicity machine.

It's bigger in the sense that the Cards depended on the passing game and got to the super bowl cause of it. Don't really have a consistent running game to lean on so no good QB means that team is gonna stay fucked. Vikings on the other hand have one of the best running backs in the league to lean on. Plus at least they drafted a young QB for the future while. So while they have an issues there the Cards is more of a they need a QB just to avoid not having to pick in the top 5 picks of the draft rather than the Vikings who could still get carried into the playoffs by AP and their defense if they play as good as they should.

I laugh at the way the Cards got to the Super Bowl. I actually am not a fan of how most NFC teams seem to stumble into the Super Bowl and face some AFC super power. It doesn't lead to the best matches.

I guess since the Cards have nothing ESPN just harps on their QB issue since it gets the biggest reaction. It makes sense in that aspect.

Nice to see some football conversation going on hah. Anyways, i think today Arizona's Qb problems are over just from what I'm reading and hearing on TV it's almost a certainty they are going to trade for Kevin Kolb. And as for the Raiders i really don't know how i feel about Jason Campbell,it seems like he's the starter this year and i really like the guy but i just have a bad feeling about it, he put up decent numbers last year but was benched on a few occasions they did end the season at 8-8, but then got rid of there coach Tom Cable, luckily though there new head coach is the offensive coordinator that's been there a few years, but still i don't know. They need to keep there defense together to really make an impact this year, i'd say even make a trade for Chad Ochocinco and make other defensive coordinator's they play against really make them worry about him catching the ball and making a big run i know he's older now but i think he could make an impact for them.

I wish Aaron Rodgers was on the cover of Madden this year, he deserves a curse.

Sidney Rice agreed to a five-year, $41 million deal with the Seahawks, according to a league source.
