New X-Division Championship Design

Dixie Carter revealed the new title design today just before Impact. Currently the title is vacant as Chris Sabin cashed in the title for a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship so it is good timing to bring in the new belt. I don't mind it although I am not really a fan of the shape. Reminds me a bit of the WWE IC belt because of the colours chosen and the design on the plates. Makes sense to update the colour from red to blue to go along with the colour change made by TNA quite some time ago to its product. Prefer the old design though, should have used that and just changed the colour instead.

Yeah, they seem to have just gotten the IC title belt and stuck a big X on it. Not really a fan of it.

Old one is much better in my opinion.

Why does it remind me of the older WWE IC title that's been photoshopped with a bunch of X's on it?

Anyways I'm not too concerned about the belt design, I'm more concerned about how they're going to book how the belt is going to be won (battle royale? tournament?). Should be interesting to witness in the next couple of weeks.

They held three triple threat matches on Impact this week. The three winners go into an Ultimate X match on Impact next week to determine the winner and the new champion.

Ah ok. Show's what I know about the current product lol. Honestly that's the best case scenario IMO for the X-Division Championship. Granted though what happens in the match will make or break it (obviously) so I'll have to check that out next week.

It looks like the love child belt of the IC and NXT title. I also don't like the change from Red to blue. The one they had looked good. Don't really get the change.

Doesn't look horrible, but not the best either. I don't know if I'll be able to look at this belt seriously.

The blue looks terrible. I liked it on the IC belt, but the X Division belt didn't need a new design at all, it was great like it was. I'll get used to it and it'll be fine, but this was a dumb change.

I like the design, could've made the X smaller, the giant X kind of makes the strap part look like the Divas title, nice colour scheme, somes wings on it. no giant TNA logo, it's fine.

Not like it was Hardy's belt.
