I don't think you quite understand how many idiots there actually are on the internet. I made $20 back off the shirt that I paid $25 for.

So I got two shirts to start with, one for myself and one to sell, and ended up paying a total of $5 basically. I think that's a pretty smart strategy if you ask me.

PROVIDING it paid off.... Which in this case it did, so more power to ya.

I'm well aware of the idiocy of ebayers and people in general.

I sell a lot of second hand and collectable music on ebay and other places... Tho', I guess I'm dealing with an 'already educated' customer base to start with so am prob over-estimating your average ebay monkey.

Well, granted I did research the day of buying the shirts to see if they were still selling well, and they were. So that's why I went ahead and sold it.

Ehh, no way. Screening something onto a shirt costs at least $10. Not worth it, especially if it may end up looking sketchy. I don't really want negative feedback, lol. Besides, I pretty much made all my money back, so I virtually got my own Punk shirt for free.

I guess you can't sell things on e-bay through a dummy account then?

I really don't know, I've never used e-bay before.

Separating stupid people from their money is a noble act worthy of song and praise.

Well, you could I guess, but you wouldn't have any rep or previous positive transactions to go by. So you wouldn't be trusted nearly as much as a person with an account like myself who has made 30+ transactions with a 100% positive feedback rate.

Indeed, However, conning people into thinking they're buying something that they're in fact not ISN'T.
