"Emi Sakura (with Lulu Pencil)"...AEW really trying to get me as a fan, lol. Also, seems like Dark is nothing but squash matches
Yeh I like it because when I was kid in the early 90's thats how shows were lmao. So I kind of dig squashes. Yeh Lulu hasn't done anything yet really, but today Emi threw her cape at her. So lets hope Lulu sees action soon.

It's all it's been since it's inception basically, yeah. Win/loss record padding for the most part I think
Kind of devalues the whole "we treat win and loses like real sports" doesn't it.

I don't think so at all, the opposite really since the people they're pushing will get wins on this show to better their record before a title shot so the title shots don't seem random

Well to me it's similar to sports where super teams bury lower end teams. So this actually in a way makes it more realistic to me.

Guess, still seems like a devalue.

Even that makes no sense to me. You are just inflating stats for the sack of looking good/having great stats.

I believe they also weigh records. Similar to College Football when they do rankings.

I guess having everyone's record closer to .500 would be more value 8D

I wouldn't know how they do it in College Football, but I guess if these squash matches are more a showcase of a wrestler then that wouldn't be so bad.

Yeah, the system isn't just weighed on win/loss strength of wins also plays a factor.

Thoughts: Man I think of Macho Man everytime Iroha comes out with the beignning of that song. I love Kaori fuck she's so great haha, those frigging noises she makes. This was a really good match. I enjoy both wrestlers, but Iroha is my favorite in this match.

DDT Pro Dramatic Survivor 09/04/2021

170. Singles Match - Mad Pauly defeated Keigo Nakamura.

Thoughts: Pretty good opener. Mad Pauly has a cool look with this gimmick, and Keigo looks young as hell. Still not bad.
Rating: 2.5

171. Dramatic Survivor Losing Tag Tournament Semi Final Match - Toru Owashi, Naomi Yoshimura, Kazuki Hirata & HARASHIMA defeated DAMNATION (Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo, Soma Takao & Yuji Hino).

Thoughts: I might be in the minority, but I actually enjoy 4 on 4 matchs. This one was very good. I was pulling for Damnation, dig their look more.
Rating: 3

172. Dramatic Survivor Losing Tag Tournament Semi Final Match - Jun Akiyama, Mizuki Watase, Hideki Okatani & Yusuke Okada defeated The 37KAMINA (Konosuke Takeshita, Shunma Katsumata, Yuki Ueno & MAO).

Thoughts: This match was a bit sloppy, wasn't bad overall though. Some cool things happened.
Rating: 2.5

173. Mixed Tag Team Match - Eruption (Saki Akai & Kazusada Higuchi) defeated Yukio Naya & Akito.

Thoughts: Pretty solid match, Higuchi is solid, and Saki Akai is amazing.
Rating: 3

174. Tag Team Match - Yuki Ino & Danshoku Dino defeated Antonio Honda & Sanshiro Takagi.

Thoughts: I was a bit confused by this match lmao. Dino was in a thong and Yuki made the wolfpack hand motion in between his ass cheeks. Then Yuki got into an old school jockstrap, and started sitting on his opponents face. LMAO then he kept doing the Rick Rude hands behind head humping motion. LMAO either way it was pretty hilarious.
Rating: 2.5

175. Singles Match - Chris Brookes defeated Yukio Sakaguchi via referee stoppage.

Thoughts: What a frigging match, Chris Brookes is excellent. Sakaguchi was brilliant in the match as well.
Rating: 3.5

176. Dramatic Survivor Losing Tag Tournament Final - The 37KAMINA (Konosuke Takeshita, Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata & MAO) defeated DAMNATION (Tetsuya Endo, Soma Takao, Daisuke Sasaki & Yuji Hino).

Thoughts: Awesome main event, gotta say I'm totally into Damnation now. Cool as group.
Rating: 3.5

Overall Really fun show, Chris Brookes, and Damnation were highlights for me.

AEW Dark 9/7/2021

177. Lance Archer def. Jason Hotch

Thoughts: So last match Archer carried his opponent, and tonight he chases his opponent lmao. Too funny.
Rating: Squash

178. The Bunny def. Laynie Luck

Thoughts: The Bunny is growing leaps and bounds in my eyes. Still green, but much improved. Her facials are awesome.
Rating: Squash

179. Evil Uno def. Alan “5” Angels

Thoughts: I'm sort of over the Dark Order so this break up if it happens will be welcome to me. This was a really good match.
Rating: 2.5

180. The Acclaimed def. Robert Anthony & Capt. Shawn Dean

Thoughts: Max's scripted rap was hilarious. I was dying when they read the Cody show promo. Max eventual rap was pretty solid. Brings me back to the days of Cena. The match was rather quick so not too many thoughts on that. Cool elbow drop though.
Rating: Squash.

181. Joey Janela def. Leo Moriarty

Thoughts: so here is a note about who's with Joey. Kayla Rossi: a friend of Jade Cargill that she talked into trying wrestling. So she ended up at the nightmare factory and took a liking to it. Pretty interesting, she has a great look. Taz "Janela a face that a mother would hate, no one would love his face." LMAO Moriarty was a bit wild, but he wasn't too bad in the ring. Overall, I enjoyed the match, and it had some good psychology, and both guys really worked well together. Moriarty kicking out of the powerbomb, wow! That Death Valley Driver was sick as hell.
Rating: 3

182. Colt Cabana & Stu Grayson def. Travis Titan & Rickey Shane Page

Thoughts: Pretty quick match, sweet finish.
Rating: Squash

183. Big Swole def. Diamante – Three Strikes Match

Thoughts: I thought this was would be a decent match, turned out to be a great main event, Both did a great job. Big Swole is definitely growing on me, and Diamante is a badass as well.
Rating: 3

Overall Not as much name value on this Dark, but was pretty good overall.

GCW The Art of War Games 9/4/2021

184. Billie Starkz defeated Janai Kai

Thoughts: Janai is very green, and this match was pretty sloppy. It was pretty scary at the end when Billie almost botched the tombstone, luckily she adjusted, and didn't rush.
Rating: 2.5

185. Tony Deppen defeated Allie Katch

Thoughts: Very good match. Tony is a great heel, and Allie really is such a great talent.
Rating: 3

186. PBR Ladder Scramble Fuckfest: Ninja Mack defeated Dante Leon, Yoya, Nick Wayne, Jake Lander, Shane Mercer, and Jordan Oliver

Thoughts: Ninja Mack is fucking insane lmao. What a match. Everyone did great. Jordan Oliver and Dante are my other favoties in this match, but everyone did an awesome job.
Rating: 3.5

187. The Art of War Games: MDK Gang (Nick Gage, Alex Colon, Mance Warner, Matthew Justice, EFFY, & AJ Gray) defeated 44OH! (Rickey Shane Page, Atticus Cogar, Gregory Iron, Bobby Beverly, Eddy Only, & Eric Ryan)

Thoughts: This match was fucking crazy as hell, so much blood, and so many crazy spots. I'm shocked no one got seriously injured. The Spanish Fly from Alex Colon was frigging crazy.
Rating: 4

188. GCW Championship Open Challenge: Matt Cardona (c) defeated Frank The Clown
GCW Championship Open Challenge: Jon Moxley defeated Matt Cardona (c)

Thoughts: Cardona had the crowd pissed, and then boom Mox out of no where with the victory. For GCW to score Mox is incredible.
Rating: Angle/Squash

Overall: Really good show, I def have to check out more GCW

AEW Dynamite 9/8/2021

189. Malakai Black Defeated Dustin Rhodes

Thoughts: Good opener, I was expecting a squash. I was so happy when it turned into a competitive match.
Rating: 3

190. Powerhouse Hobbs Defeated Dante Martin

Thoughts: Dante is one of my new favorite wrestlers. Powerhouse Hobbs needs some work, but has a cool look.
Rating: 2.5

191. Ruby Soho Defeated Jamie Hayter

Thoughts: Very sloppy match. I enjoy both of them, but the chemistry was off in this match. Some really scary spots.
Rating: 2.5

192. Shawn Spears & FTR Defeated John Silver, Stu Grayson & Evil Uno

Thoughts: Dark Order continues the downslide, this was a decent match. More of a segment to move along the Dark Order turmoil
Rating: 2.5

193. Jon Moxley Defeated Minoru Suzuki

Thoughts: Best match of the night wish it got a few more minutes, but Suzuki busted open was cool. So surreal to see Suzuki in AEW
Rating: 3

Overall: This was kind of a miss for me tonight at least with the wrestling. There were some hilarious segments though, and overall I enjoyed it.
