So Miami Heat now have LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Ray Allen all on the same team. Damn. ‪They're gonna be killer. Lol and nice to see he took a paycut as it just shows he wants to win championships and isn't all that bothered by the money.‬

Looks fitting.

I've heard plenty of fellow Celtic fans complain about Allen 'trading' on the C's, but how can you Celtics fans blast Ray for not being loyal? Allen's only spent five of his seventeen years on Boston, and he's nearly been traded by them several times over the past couple of years anyway. To call him a 'traitor' for deciding to sign with another team is ridiculous. He fulfilled his contract-that's all he owes them.

So the resident T-Wolves fans have some thoughts on what the Wolves are doing here it goes.

Brandon Roy: Yes we got our old draft pick back. I am excited to see what he can do coming off of retirement. Now am I expecting him to be a huge big time player. No not really, but am I expecting production from him. Yes I am, see the thing is the T-Wolves when it came to the 2 position is we did not have a consistent threat at the position. I mean really it just cause more aches seeing Wes just being left open like Thablo and missing shots. Hopefully this move gives us a guy who gives us 10 points a game. Not to mention makes Wes Johnson to play tougher.

Nicholas Batum: If we are able to land him this would be an upgrade from B-Eazy's no defense. Batum is a solid player, and a good three ball shooter. I am interested to see how he will work in our system. Now I do not want to do a sign and trade with Portland. Which it seems might happen come the 13th. Losing Webster and Derrick Williams would hurt so much. I mean those are key bench players for us, not to mention Williams has too much potential to let go. I am hoping Portland just says forget it, just focus on Hibbert, and moves on. If not I am going to be one sad fan.

Anyways hoping for the playoffs, and one win in the playoffs nothing more.

Minny will look real good if Roy can hold up and land Batum who is pulling a Eric Gordon and doesn't want Portland to match. That to go with Rubio, Love and a possibly breaking out Derrick Williams who can be an all star in the NBA they got a great looking young squad.

Exactly. Just the trade will suck for Minny if it goes down. The thing is though what I like is Adleman is doing all the work, and Khan's dumbass is just listening too him. Thank you lord.

I'm starting to hate this trend of restricted free agents crying that they don't want their team to match the offer sheet they signed. First Eric Gordon and now Batum trying to pull this shit. If you want to leave your team as soon as possible, sign the qualifying offer and play out the season. Otherwise shut the fuck up. It was bad enough when superstars like Anthony and Howard pulled this shit; I'm not going to tolerate it from third-tier players.

It's been known for a while that Batum hates Portland, though. It began like a year ago. It's not just some random occurrence, like Gordon's appears to be.

Anyway, Orlando signed and traded Ryan Anderson for Gustavo Ayon. I'm pretty 'meh' on it. Anderson was terrible without Dwight to end last season, so that was an unfortunate omen that could've happened this season as well. He wanted too much money, and with the way Big Baby played to finish out last year, he became expendable. If Baby can do that shit for an entire year, I'll be happy Anderson is gone. Plus, Orlando got a more defensive guy in Ayon in return, cleared up some money, and got a TPE out of it. After drafting Harper last season (another stretch-4) and Nicholson this year, with Big Baby already in place, it's not a bad deal. I wish we would've gotten a guy like Vasquez from New Orleans instead of Ayon, but oh well. He can play C, which is important, because Baby can't handle 35 minutes playing Center. He'd get beaten up on too badly.

Again, if Batum hated Portland so much, refusing the qualifying offer was a pretty stupid decision. Under any CBA in sports, both players and teams have certain rights. The RFA rules are pretty clearly laid out, and there was no reason to think Portland wouldn't re-sign him given that Portland basically refused to trade him for anything less than Lebron and Wade.

Anderson's getting 4/36 from New Orleans. On no planet is that too much money, that's a steal. Baby can't do anything for an entire year and he shouldn't be the reason to trade a player as good as Anderson. That said, Gustavo Ayon is a decent return. When he got minutes with NO he was effective, and he could be a decent 5 in the near future.

You will like Gus, never takes a play off.

sal, i get the point you are making. I really don't care about Batum though as he is hype, statistically he is one of the worst SG/sf defenders in the league according to synergy. He tries hard, but Kobe/Ron, Iggy/Turner, pierce/Pietrius, Melo, LeBron, Crash, Thabo, Wade, Battier, all allow few points per posession and hold their opponents to worse fg%. The only big minute guys worse than him were Harden, Fields, Foye, and so on

We'll see, man. Bass was shit in Orlando, same for Baby in Boston. A change of scenery seemed to do both of them well.

I can't wait till 2015 when every single player on the Lakers currently is retired, aside from Bynum who is in the prime of his career. This statement will be reinforced even more if they sign Raja Bell.

Still will be the Lakers and be relevant every decade. They don't. Rebuild, they reload unlike every other team, always have, always will.

Kobe won't be retired by then, and neither will Pau if he is still there most likely. They might just cost less and bring in a big name which if you believe rumors, they were looking at Russ and Love when making that plan with the contracts

The Hornets are having a great off season: Drafing Davis and Rivers, Dumping Lewis contract after trading Okafor and Ariza and now acquiring Ryan Anderson. The final piece is matching the offer on Eric Gordon on the 14th.

Found this interesting

If he doesn't extend his contract with the Lakers, Andrew Bynum reportedly has a short list of teams he would consider as a free agent in 2013 -- the Rockets, Mavericks and Cavaliers.

This might throw cold water on the Lakers' attempts to package Bynum in a deal for Dwight Howard, since Bynum "has shown no inclination to agree to an immediate extension if sent to Orlando." The Nets could face a similar conundrum in a package centered around Brook Lopez, since Lopez would have to agree to join the Magic -- so far he's been remarkably silent about his constant inclusion in trade talks.
The Cavs of all teams? lol
