What Dirk say? Can't say I blame him way Cuban handled this team after the title win was horrible pretty much banking on getting Deron and lost value team pieces esp Chandler who was the last guy they needed to lose outside of Dirk.
"I’m not sure," Nowitzki, 34, said. "I’ve always said I want to finish my career here and obviously the championship season topped it all off; that’s what I always was chasing and dreaming about so that kind of sealed that deal on that front. If we really come out with nobody this summer then maybe they want to rebuild and, obviously, I’m too old for that. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens on that front. But I still think I got two, three good years left in me and if we get some players in here we can be right back up there and compete."

Cuban has like the ultimate hard on for him so only way I see Dirk leaving that team is if his contract ran out and Dirk totally disregarded any offer from Cuban to leave.

What did Cuban screw up, exactly? He could've re-signed Tyson Chandler to huge money and could've re-signed the other scrubs that left after last season, sure. And he didn't get the free agents he wanted to get this summer, sure. So that's the end? I don't see it. The Mavericks are set up to have the flexibility to go in any number of directions. Maybe they bottom out, maybe they swing a trade or convince a star to come there in the next two years. Two things they won't be:

1. cap-crippled
2. mediocre

Cuban handled this as well as he could have, even though the free agents didn't line up for him this summer.

AND ALSO

Dwight Howard to the Lakers? See, this is why the Lakers shouldn't have been allowed to get Nash. Nash is a good guy. The Lakers are destined to be a team full of talented twats even worse than Miami. Seriously, gimme Miami/Lakers next year in the finals, and GOOOOOOOO LEBRON. The Heat should trade Wade to the Lakers first so the Lakers can have the twattiest team in NBA history.

Despite the Nash to L.A deal I'm liking how Phoenix isn't fucking around and making moves.

Feel the same way if you end up with Mayo over Gordon?

Just about yeah I mean I like Gordon a little more but Mayo can be just as good so would be happy with either.

Found this article very interesting

What the Suns should offer in a sign-and-trade for Eric Gordon

Didn't even realize how similar Joe Johnson and Eric Gordon's restricted FA situations were.
Read Gordon bitching and he has some points but the Hornets don't give a damn. Benson will treat him like he did Ricky, tell him fuck his feelings.

If I were the Hirnets though I want the 2/4 of the picks from la, and Lopez since they have no size. Then I would sign Mayo because I know unlike Eric's hobbled ass who hasn't played a full season 3 years straight he will and has talent /youth as well.

I would have still just went after Mayo if I was Phoenix over yapping my cap tied up for two days because he is cheaper and healthier. Then I would have signed Young as well. I think you could have got Young and Mayo for the price of Gordon and then started Dragic, OJ, Nick, Beas, and Gortat. They must really value Eric and like Morris

Gordon just trying to talk his way out of the matching since it's all he can do being restricted lol. Like the fact that he wants to be a Sun that bad but it's probably gonna backfire and make him get booed by his own home crowd. Suns do have back up options thankfully Mayo and if he don't work out Lou Williams, Barbosa (would really like him back in Phoenix), etc.

I moved on from Ray after the Celtics got Terry. Obviously I'd rather not see him go to the defending champs, and I'm slightly, SLIGHTLY butt-hurt over the fact that he took a huge pay-cut to leave Boston for Miami. He brought my city a championship, and that will never be forgotten. Now tear both your ACLs you abortion sandwich.
