They've gotten offers for Rondo I'm sure just not one that made them pull the trigger on the deal.

Westbrook is a great athlete but I don't think he will do better than Durant, Durant is just a star and Westbrook needs plenty more improving. Not saying Durant doesn't, he could use a bit more improvement but he is fine where he is at. Another person that I hope does good is James, I always liked him but I think I would still choose Durant over him.
Westbrook is pretty damn good in his own right and doesn't have too much to improve on and to me the better he plays the better that team will do because he does so much at PG from his rebound ability, passing, driving to the basket getting to the line getting steals.

I think Orlando should go after D. Will and try to keep Howard happy or go after CP3. I don't see this franchise dropping the ball like they did with Shaq, Orlando has a-lot to offer its going to be interesting to see how this all unfolds.

They can't sign either of them anyway, so there's no point. The Nets won't trade Williams, and though New Orleans may trade Paul, I'm still unsure if he'd sign an extension here. He did say he wants to play with Dwight wherever he goes, though.

If CP3 had it his way he, Melo, Amare and Howard would all be on the same team since he wants to play there and wants to play with Howard. That shit isn't happening though.

The Miami Heat have interest in Greg Oden

Oden has a one-year qualifying offer from the Portland Trail Blazers for $8.9 million on his plate at the moment. The most the Heat could offer is the bulk of the $5 million mid-level exception.

I'm sorry, at this point if you are Greg Oden you have to take the extra 4 million, there might not be too many more paydays left.

I would love to see the guy make it through a season healthy too.

In other news, the Suns are going to waive Vincesanity.

The Phoenix Suns will move forward without Vince Carter on their roster.

Carter’s full $18 million salary for this season would have been guaranteed if not released within 72 hours of the official start of free agency.

By waiving Carter, the Suns will save $14 million by paying him the guaranteed $4 million stipulated in his contract.

Good no use in the Suns keeping him.

Apparently the Lakers are trying to get both CP3 and Dwight Howard and everyone but Kobe Bryant is tradeable. Well damn.

Mak, do the Suns have a backup PG? Brooks is stuck over in China with the Niuggets trio so I was just wondering especially with the season having B2B2B games.

Also, I'm not sure if it has been announced for everyone, but LA gets their 3 games in three nights deal out of the way early. They play Christmas, the 26th, and 27th. Then they basically play back to back for New Years. FSN released that today

Zabian Dowdell is the back up point guard and actually looked pretty damn good last year at times so I imagine if he gets more playing time this year he'll step up even more on a consistent basis.

Interesting. I was wondering if your team would take a look at Tinsley who has done well in the NBDL and is being a model citizen. He is actually in shape and would play cheap seeing as how he is making D league money now, lol.

LA is nearing a 2 year vet min deal with Kapono. Not big but damn it would be nice to see someone hit an open 3, which he can do. They also are set to talk to Denver about an Afflalo sign and trade I read, which makes no sense to me. I'd love to get the guy, but unless if they want Ron or maybe Shannon in asign and trade for bodies I don't get them moving him. The TPE from Sasha is good, but not enough, and last I heard they were only interested in Caracter and Bynum last year

I wouldn't mind Tinsley but Phoenix pretty much wants to go young with the back up PG esp to set up someone when Steve retires in a few years (At least that is what the plan is for him to play 2 more years and retire in Phoenix) Which is why I kind of wish they didn't trade Gragic as he seemed like the guy for the job. Or even tried the rumored idea of trying to trade up to get Jimmer since he'd obvious fit with how he plays but nothing ever came of that.

As far as L.A getting Afflalo don't see anything coming of that since L.A's focus seems soley to get either Paul, Howard or both and barely got enough pieces to do that. If I was Afflalo anyways I wouldn't want to go there simply because he's good enough to start somewhere.

Magic CEO Bob Vander Weide resigned abruptly today. Seems like a really bad indicator of things to come...

Apparently he made a late-night call to Dwight several days ago and was intoxicated during the call. Might be why he's out. If he fucked this up, people will have his head.
