Indeed, Gil was the only guy who played consistently well alongside Dwight. No clue how the fuck he was penetrating. Doesn't really matter, though. If Jamal Crawford wasn't the best fucking shooter in the NBA, especially from mid-range, things would be much different. I really wish God would force a Shaun Livingston upon him (and Smith, maybe).

Anyway, I've accepted that the big guy is gone. Glad I never raked out any dough for his merchandise.

I love them showing the graphic which says the Lakers are undefeated when Kobe shoots less than 15 times, and Reggie Miller (genius that he is) immediately says "that means nothing to me." Naturally.

I have Orlando stuff, but not Dwight-exclusive stuff. I try to stay away from that kind of stuff, because it turns out to be a waste of money, often-times. Unless it's clear that the player will stay on that team his whole career.

Would have been shocked if any commentator would have gave it much merit and try to make a case that Kobe should shoot less so Reggie saying that I pretty much expected. If it was the other way around (undefeated when Kobe shoots over 15 shots) then pretty sure he would have dick rode for about 5 minutes.

I don't mind explaining it away. It's easy enough. He doesn't shoot that much in blowouts when he skips the 4th quarter, when the rest of the offense is in gear it's unnecessary, reasonable stuff like that. But just "oh, I don't care what that stat says," is just ignorance of something right in front of you, and that bugs the shit out of me. People who just write off statistics because "I can see the game with my eyes," those are the types of people I'd like to be a GM against.

I can understand that. I never bought any Pau stuff. I have some Fisher, Lamar, and Kobe stuff for over the years because I thought they would all retire in LA. I still have doubts about Pau because he is hard to judge.

I have no Favre stuff from anywhere but the Packers for the same reason

Honest Question.

Did you guys not know that Reggie Miller is by far the worst commentator employed by Turner Sports? Cheryl acts a fool on the sideline, but on Live Look In Friday's she actually can break a play down step by step and call the action seriously, so I still don't know how Reggie is this bad at it.

The worst basketball personality on ESPN to me is a toss up between Magic (not his talk show level bad though) and the chick who announces games.
