he said shooter lol. none of what you is relevant to a discussion about great shooters. nobody said Steph was the GOAT player; although you are clearly selling his overall game short. dude is second in the league in assists and top 5 in scoring
I said whatever I wanted. No, i'm really not selling it short. He is a great player. He is the best shooter in the game. His turnover rate is high, but I won't use that against him. All the guys I mentioned, I'd rather have on the team than him. If I wnated one PG for my team, i'd go with curry over everyone. I'm not hating, just stating what I think, and it's a pretty common agreement among NBA fans.
EDIT: I know it's not a one on one game, but you're really the one selling melo short. He shoots a lot, sure. He also carries his scrub ass team. People say "Oh, 62 points and no assists" Do you see who he plays with? No Amare, no martin, no artest, no bargnani.
Chandler isn't an offensive threat, J.R. is trash this year (shooting like dwight howard from the FT line even 60% cmon) Shumpert is inconsistent, and felton isn't that great. I guess he could have dished it off to spike lee in the front row, and seen what he can do with it. Curry has offensive threats everywhere on his roster. His team is 10X better than what the knicks have. Melo does dish though if you watch, but it ends up in some shitty Iso play, and it's pathetic. Melo has always played with B point guards, and he needs one in the worst way. Both great players, Curry the better shooter, but IMO Melo is Elite as fuck. No one can guard him one on one besides maybe Lebron or George (but george didn't fair well earlier this season)
