CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING FROM HOLLYWOOD - House Show #20

The night would begin with Frontline (Cage & Owens) claiming a tag-team victory over the Bhangra Knights. After the match though the Knights refused to shake hands with Cage and Owens, almost as if they refused to acknowledge them and indicate the win over them had been nothing, but a fluke.

New NWA World Women’s Champion LuFisto would claim a single’s victory over KC Spinelli, with KC losing streak now having grown to a dramatic 0-12. After the match KC would thank the fans for their continued support and hoped to break this duck sooner rather than later.

In a night that is filled with tag-team action Keith Walker and Rasche Brown of the Skullkrushers would claim a solid victory over We Had No Choice (Daivari & Jimmy Jacobs).

A video package would play featuring Josh Alexander and Kazuchika Okada, sending the message that despite both men being Young Lions (U25) they were both proving to be the future of this business and it was announced that the pair would meet, in what would be Okada’s last match as part of his tour in the US, in the next big show’s main-event.

Doctor El Sueno would defend the National Championship for the first time and do so successfully against the more senior Silas Young. After the match, Young would make it clear that Sueno didn’t have the bottle to beat him twice in a row. The Doctor responded - that he would do exactly that.

Josh Alexander and Dick Togo would pair up to claim a tag-team victory over Hakin Zane and Kazuchika Okada.

Whilst, Jonathan Gresham would win with a fairly convincing performance over Pepper Parks.

The main-event would see Blue Demon, Jr. wrestle for the first time in his career as he would team up with Cedric Alexander to take on the team of Brody King and Peter Avalon. Alexander would cover King for the win, but after the celebration. Brody King would make a point that Blue Demon, Jr. was washed out and that now without a mask - he had lost all his power that made him the man, he used to be.

-----

CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING FROM HOLLYWOOD - House Show #21

Cedric Alexander would get a nice win over Brian Cage to open the show, with Caprice Coleman taking to the microphone afterwards and making it clear that Alexander was now in the market for a tag-team partner.

Cash Wheeler would run a less than pleased comedy bit, in which he would call out Brandon Cutler. Instead, a little person dressed as Cutler would come out and be mocked and bullied by Wheeler before being ejected by the ring. It was strange to see Wheeler involved in a comedy bit, but perhaps this is the direction of the Hollywood Championship.

Christina Von Eerie would claim a fairly convincing win over Tenille Dashwood.

The Nasty Boys would make it clear that at the coming live show, it would be their last appearance for a while. The Knights would make it clear, by interrupting the Nasty Boys - that they were making it their job to send the veteran team packing.

Jonathan Gresham would pick up a solid victory over Dick Togo. After the bell, Togo would cut a promo in the ring and suggest that Gresham would benefit from spending some time in New Japan - to really improve his game.

Censored Material w/ Paul Ellering would claim their first win since joining the NWA and do so in a clean win over The Knights.

The tensions between Josh Alexander and Kazuchika Okada were clear, as the pair would end up breaking out into a brawl during a kayfabe press scum backstage.

The main-event would see Player Dos wrestle a singles match against Blue Demon, Jr and actually claim a victory over the former Worlds Champion.

With the focus of the show being the match between Okada and Alexander, this would be the first Live Show in which none of the championship belts would be on the line.

Prezz - the singer/songwriter would make his return as a guest to the NWA singing then national anthem - only to be attacked by Worlds Champion Peter Avalon, in what was a throwback to Peter’s original gimmick of attacking celebrities in the ring.

Censored Material would put on a barnstormer against The Skullkrushers in which Benjamin and Hass would come out on top, with the added note that Benjamin would take out Rasche Brown with an elbow drop through the announcer's table in what was the highlight of the contest.

Jessicka Havok would claim a victory over Christina Von Eerie, but it would come by way of countout as Eerie would decide that she just no longer had any interest in wrestling Havok, much to the crowd’s frustration.

Caprice Coleman with his client Cedric, would reveal that he would be donning his wrestler boots once more and that it would be he who would become Cedric’s tag team partner.

The Knights would win without any really doubt over The Nasty Boys, in what would be marked as the Sags and Knobbs final appearance in the NWA for a while at least (with a suggestion they were on a limited appearance contract).

ELP and Brody King would team up and do so successfully by beating Blue Demon and The Beer City Bruiser in a traditional tag team contest.

Candice LeRae and Saraya-Jade would have another great contest, with LeRae continuing to prove herself as the better woman. LeRae though would show no interest in Bevis after the bell, and instead enjoy her moment under the spotlight. Bevis would eventually get to her feet and offer her hand to LeRae - only for Candice to shock everyone by spitting in the rookie’s face.

In an epic Last Man Standing match, Josh Alexander and Kazuchika Okada would push each other to the limit. Alexander, though, had a few opportunities where he could have cheated but instead chose not to, and seemed determined to win the contest cleanly. The match ending would come about with Alexander being send through a table, after Okada would leap off the top of the ladder using a steel chair for an assisted leg drop that would bust Alexander wide open and bring the match to a conclusion. The night would end with a bloody faced Alexander shaking hands with Okada, before the two youngsters would embrace. It was being suggested that Alexander might have turned face, at the expense of the loss.

----------

Sonjay Dutt, Thea Trinidad, Hikaru Shida all joined the training roster.

Ricky Banderas signs a contract with the NWA.

Rumours that Bill Goldberg has signed a limited appearance contract with the NWA.

Kyle Bukhari rumoured to be the first developed member of the training roster, to be called up.

Dick Togo returned to NJPW.

Kazuchika Okada extended his tour commitments by three months with Uhaa Nation, Diamond Konley and Pepper Parks all being allowed to travel to Japan.

Simon Gotch, Danny Burch, Brodie Lee and Trevor Murdoch return from NJPW - with Burch and Gotch reforming the Industrial Revolution.

Blue Demon, Jr. being repackaged as Broken Demon with new ring attire and face paint combination.

CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING FROM HOLLYWOOD - House Show #22

Saraya-Jade would open the show with a victory over in-house jobber KC Spinelli. After the match, Saraya-Jade would go on record in stating that from here on out - she would prefer to be known simply as SJB.

Player Uno w/ Dos at ringside would claim a singles victory of Marty Scurll. It would be the second time in recent weeks that the Super Smash Bros would diversify themselves into competing in singles matches.

A debut package would air featuring Ricky Banderas - with footage being shown from his time in Mexico.

Cash Wheeler would once again defend his Hollywood Championship against Brandon Cutler, although with another win the assumption had to be that Cutler was very much now out of the title picture.

Caprice Coleman would make his first appearance as wrestler in months as he would team up with Cedric Alexander, the pair though would be on the losing side as they would be no match for Censored Material.

Kazuchika Okada in broken English, would cut a promo making it clear that after a historic match with Josh Alexander he was happy to be remaining in America for another three months. The promo would be cut short though, as he would be ambushed from behind by the debuting Ricky Banderas. The segment for many, would be seen as one of the best in Championship Wrestling From Hollywood’s short history.

The Country Boys - or rather the two men that used to be part of the team had returned from Japan with their rivalry still intact. Murdoch would claim a victory over Brodie Lee, but it was clear that the pair clearly hadn’t sorted through their differences since working abroad.

Candice LeRae would call out SJB, and the rookie would come out. Candice would make it clear that she was willing to take the rookie under her wing, and despite the disrespect of having been spit at the last live show SJB would actually shake hands with Candice much to everyone’s confusion.

The Industrial Revolution (Danny Burch & Simon Gotch) would also make their first appearance since returning from Japan, and do it the right way with a win over the Skullkrushers to open their account once more as they no doubt had their eyes on the tag team titles.

----

CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING FROM HOLLYWOOD - House Show #23

A hyped debut package would reveal that Goldberg had signed with the NWA on a limit appearance contract and that he would be making his debut against Peter Avalon for the Worlds Title at Into The Fire.

The Industrial Revolution would meet the Skullkrushers once more, but this time in singles action. Gotch would defeat Rasche Brown, whilst Burch would beat Kory Chavis. The point has to be made that Skullkrushers were looking a long way off the standard that the IR would bring to the table.

A package focusing on LuFisto as the Women’s World Champion would air - highlighting on the recent run of the form that Fisto had been on since wrestling as a member of the NWA.

The Front Line (Owens and Cage) would claim a surprise victory over The Knights, with Brian Cage after the contest making a statement that Gurv and Harv had been protected for far too long.

Candice LeRae and SJB would team up for the first time, and claim a tag team victory over KC Spinelli and Havok. After the contest Industrial Revolution would come down to the ring and reunite with Candice, before making it clear that SJB was officially the newest member of their faction - and that the Brit had a bright future ahead of her.

Ricky Banderas would team up with Brody King, and make his NWA debut by getting a tag team victory over Okada and Broken Demon. It was apparent after the match - that two distinct feuds were in play and that their was a strong likelihood that two different matches would take place at Into The Fire.

The night would begin with Trevor Murdoch claiming a win over his former tag team partner Brodie Lee. Murdoch would seem very pleased with himself after the contest.

Jonathan Gresham would win a 10 Man Battle Royal - with the winner of the contest being promised a shot for the National Championship at the next Live Event.

A video would hype the upcoming contest between Goldberg and Peter Avalon.

Censored Material's solid run of form would continue as they would claim a tag team victory over We Had No Choice.

In the first title match of the night The Beer City Bruiser would challenge for the Hollywood Championship, but fall short of the mark of Cash Wheeler who was continuing to show himself as one of the top talents on the up in the NWA.

SJB would claim a win of KC, with Spinelli's terrible run of form seeming to never want to end.

Banderas and Okada would cut a promo backstage on each other, with Banderas making it clear that Okada was an overrated jumped up kid from Japan who had never been faced with a real challenge up to this point and that once he was finished with Okada, he would be coming for the Worlds Championship.

Doctor El Sueno and Silas Young would compete for the National Championship and put on the best contest of the night with the masked luchador retaining the title. After his win, Arn Anderson would come out from the back and make it clear to the Doctor that his client Jonathan Gresham would be the next National Champion - sooner rather than later.

In trios action The Front Line (Cage, Taven and Owens) would claim victory over The Bhangra Knights with Hakim Zane suffering defeat on his first match as part of the Knights brand.

LuFisto would successfully defend the Women’s World Championship against forming champion MsChif in another solid contest, although it was obvious that MsChif would look bitterly disappointed following the loss.

Brody King would claim a massive win as he would defeat Broken Demon, with many fans shocked to see Demon actually lose the match to the relatively unknown youth talent.
The Super Smash Bros would leave nothing short of impressive as they would defend the World Tag Team Titles against Coleman and Alexander who would actually take the champions to a time limit draw with no deadlock being broken after thirty minutes. Despite not getting the win, Cedric and Caprice could not hid the fact that they had done so well against a very established tag team.

Ricky Banderas would ciam the singles victory of Okada and do so much quicker than anyone had been expecting, with the Mexican veteran very much sending the message that he was not someone to be under-estimated or undervalued.

In the night’s main-event and Goldberg debut, the Words Championship would be contested in the match of the night with Goldberg wrestling for the first time since 2004. The match was fairly even, until Avalon locked in a crossface. However, the referee would call for the bell in an apparent screw job and signal that Avalon ahd retained the belt - despite the fact that Goldberg had never tapped. Avalon would escape to the back, with a furios Goldberg standing in the middle of the ring as the show would close.

------

Top 50 Power Rankings would air with Shinsuke Nakamkra (NJPW) being recognised as the number one top talent.

Peter Avalon would surprise everyone, by being seen as the 5th best - despite being heavily built as a comedy based world champion.

Broken Demor officially departs the NWA and joins the WWE.

Whilst, Matt Hardy and former NWA talent Rebecca Knox sign a contract with the National Wrestling alliance.

Championship Wrestling From Hollywood announced that for the foreseeable future they will not be running House Show twice a month and instead would solely focus on just twelve live shows a year. The NWA would claim that this was being done, with the intent of try to secure some sort of TV or Internet show rights in the future and they felt that the house shows didn’t achieve this goal as they were resulting in a net loss for the promotion as a whole.

Hard Times 2011

Kyle Buhkari would make his pro wrestling debut, being the first complete from scratch product of the NWA new training roster and would begin his account with an impressive win of Marty Scurll. Buhkari’s win, was an indication of the work that the NWA had been putting in behind the scene to help build their brand into a global institution once again.

Trevor Murdoch would also enjoy success with a victory over Matt Taven, whilst Josh Alexander would also claim a win over Brodie Lee.

Censored Material w/ Paul Ellering would win once more against The Skullkrushers. After the match, Ellering would insist that the management team running Championship Wrestling from Hollywood perhaps look into hiring some more accomplished teams moving forward, especially with the Crockett Cup in just a few months time.

Cash Wheeler's reign as the Hollywood Championship would come to an end, as Cedric Alexander would claim the title to become the champion for the third spell of his career. In some ways it felt that Wheeler might have been dropping the title in favour of a more favourable spot on the card.

KC Spinelli’s losing streak would finally come to an end, as she would claim a victory over SJB. SJB wouldn’t react well to the loss though and proceed to obliterate KC with multiple steel chair shots to the head resulting in medical staff actually having to nurse Spinelli backstage rather than KC actually being able to celebrate breaking her losing streak.

Jonathan Gresham would put on a solid match against Doctor El Suneo, and do just what was needed to become the new National Champion. It wasn’t the best match of the night, but it was the a crowning moment as it would be Gresham first championship reign whilst working for the NWA>

Jerry Sags would be given his own Retirement Ceremony after it had been recently announced that he would no longer be taking part in ring action, anytime soon.

In a non-title match, Candice LeRae would shock the crowd by bringing an end to LuFisto's flawless winning streak. The victory would very much guarantee that LeRae would be facing LuFisto at a future date with the Women’s World Title being on the line.

Matt Hardy would make his NWA debut, with a solid win over Brody King putting himself immediately in the radar of future main-event matches.

The NWA World Tag Team Championships would be contested in a three way dance, but it would be the Industrial Revolution who would show why they are one of the best team in recent year working under the NWA banner as they would see off both the Knights and the reigning champions the Super Smash Bros to claim the titles for the second time in their careers, in what was turning into a night for championships changing hands.

The light in the arena would turn off only to come on again for an Unsanctioned Match between Goldberg & Okada vs. Avalon and Banderas. It would be a truly devastating match, but Banderas would look right at home and be the difference maker as he would guide his team to victory in the contest that would close the show. After the contest Ricky would make it clear to Avalon that once he was done with Okada - he would be next on his radar.

-------------

Motor City Machine Guns - Sabin & Shelley (TNA), Future Shock - Cole & O’Reilly (ROH) & The Suicide Kings (CZW) are all being rumoured to being involved in contractual talks with the NWA.

The Skullkrushers (Rasche Brown & Keith Walker) depart NWA.

Shark Boy leaves the Free Agency and joins the NWA.

Kyle Bukhari would continue on his winning start as a rookie, by claiming a big win over Matt Hardy. The match wasn’t the best though, as there would be a clear difference between both men in terms of their style and there was a clear lack of chemistry. What was more worrying, is that it seemed as if this could be the first feud in Bukhari’s career. To make the situation even more bizarre, after the match Buff Bagwell would come out to the ring and reveal himself as Bukhhari’s manager moving forward.

Cedric Alexander would start his third reign as the Hollywood Champion, by successfully defending the strap against Ariya Daivari.

In a match featuring a lot of technical skill Gresham and Wheeler would juke it out in a non-title match, but Cash Wheeler would impress as he would claim a win over Jonathan Gresham. Gresham though would be respectful and offer his hand to Cash despite the loss.

Jessicka Havok would finally get her hands on Von Eerie in a clean contest, and Havok would leave with the win to her name. Despite this though, Von Eerie for many was still seen as the more accomplished wrestler and Havok was really struggling to make a name for herself in the NWA.

Doctor El Sueno and Silas Young would continue their rivalry by putting another high quality match, this time without a title being on the line. El Sueno would end the match with his hand held high, but Young would still refuse to shake the National Champion's hand. Almost, as if he wasn’t pleased with what the luchador had brought to the table.

Rebecca Knox would team up with Tenille Dashwood and win on her debut against SJB and LeRae of the IR Power (the faction that the Industrial Revolution were at the forefront of). This left the crowd puzzled, as many had considered LeRae as being next in line for a shot at LuFisto’s title.

Ricky Banderas and Okada would meet one last time, with the pair putting on another great match although veteran Banderas would leave with the win once again.

The Industrial Revolution would successfully defend their tag team titles against the Knights, and Gotch would cut a promo after the match hoping the rumours were true and that some new tag teams really had joined the Championship Wrestling From Hollywood brand, otherwise their talents were really being wasted.

LuFisto's bad run of form would continue, as she would lose in another non-title match - this time to former champion MsChif.

Peter Avalon and Goldberg would have another one-on-one match, this time in a non title match. Goldberg knew that he would have to beat Avalon, if he wanted a future shot at the title. And that is exactly what Bill Goldberg would do, as he would nail Avalon with the Spear in what would result in being Peter Avalon’s first single loss in his NWA career. Could Avalon reign as the Worlds Champion coming to an end?

-----

Kazuchika Okada returned to NJPW, after his six month touring contract with the NWA came to an end. Okada would make it clear that he had enjoyed working for the promotion, but felt it was unlikely that he would return anytime soon.

Motor City Machine Guns and Future Shock both sign with the NWA bolstering the tag team division.

NWA announced that NWA Live Show 12, will be the last numbered event in the calendar with the promotion looking to create annual events that the fans can get behind and recognise and that the Live Show branding is something they want to move away from.

The show would begin with a Fatal Four way made up of Hardy, King, Bukhari and Uhaa Nation. The match would be a fairly good opener, but it would be Bukhari who would clearly be getting the rub of the green and continue on his winning ways. It was clear that Bukhari seemed to be very popular and getting along with the fans.

Rebecca Knox would claim a singles victory over KC Spinelli. After the match Knox would speak and make it clear that her run with the WWE had been educational, and she understood what she needed to do to make a real name for herself in this wrestling business and that her goal moving forward had to be becoming the Women’s World Champion. Something she had been so close at achieving in the past, but something that she now really had to focus on.

In a match that can be described as nothing short of outstanding Pepper Parks who had recently returned from Japan, would show the Hollywood fans by beating Cedric Alexander and by doing so becoming the new Hollywood Champion in the same stroke. Coleman and Cedric would both be left looking shocked and mortified, at the result of the match.

The Knights would claim a tag team victory over The Super Smash Bros, which would be seen as an important win ahead of the Crockett Cup that would be taking place next month.

Ricky Banderas run of form would continue as he and Trevor Murdoch would put on a great standalone singles match, but the Mexican veteran would walk away with the victory. In another singles match Josh Alexander would claim a win over Eli Drake.

The Industrial Revolution would continue to show why they are the tag team champions by defending their titles without any real concern against We Had No Choice.

Goldberg would cut a promo backstage, demanding that Avalon give him his title shot tonight. No ifs, no buts, but that he face Avalon tonight!

Jonathan Gresham and Cash Wheeler would meet once more, this time with the National Championship on the line. The two men would have another great match, although it was Gresham who would come out on top and hold onto his title belt.

Future Shock (Adam Cole & Kyle O’Reilly) would make their NWA debuts, and do so against Censored Material. The debutantes though would suffer a loss, as Paul Ellering would distract the referee allowing Haas to low blow Cole to steal the victory.

The NWA Women’s World Championship would be contested in a triple threat match featuring MsChif and LeRae challenging LuFisto, with the pair both having beaten the champ at recent shows. It would be Candice though, who was the only one of the three never to win the title that would leave with the victory and confirm herself as very much having arrived in the world of Women’s Wrestling with the title now to her name.

The Motor City Machine would feature in a debut promo backstage, and Shelley and Sabin would make it clear they would be debuting at the Crockett Cup with the intention of winning the event.

Avalon and Goldberg would meet in the ring, with a Special Referee of Jerry Sags in the ring. The match would prove to be great and it looked as if Goldberg was on course to win, however Avalon would end up tangling up with Sags. Which would allow Banderas to emerge from the crowd and slam a steel chair into Goldberg’s head. Avalon would be unaware of this involvement, but would end up rolling Goldberg up to retain the title belt.

2011

Last year’s Crockett Cup was won by The Knights who at the time had been managed by Candice LeRae and had beaten Industrial Revolution in the final. Going into this year’s cup, IR were the champions once again although this time round they had both LeRae and SJB aligned with their group. Two new teams had recently been signed to Championship Wrestling From Hollywood however, so it was suggested that this year's tournament would be more competitive than last year’s.

The opener would be a three way dance with Silas Young, Doctor El Sueno and Brian Cage duking it out. The match was to a high standard, with former National Champion El Sueno claiming the win.

Pepper Parks would successfully defend the Hollywood Champions article and a man that had benefited from working with a different pool of talent.

Matt Hardy and Bukhari would meet once again, but this time it would be Hardy who would leave with the victory. Kyle would take exception to Buff Bagwell, and it was clear that the young rookie didn’t really agree with Bagwell’s approach to matches.

+ + Crockett Cup 1/4 Finals + +

The Motor City Machine Guns would make their debut in impressive style with a victory of We Had No Choice, with the match being very close to the ideal five star match. This would turn a lot of heads, with Shelley and Sabin bringing some freshness and quality to the NWA.

In another quality match, the Super Smash Bros would defeat Future Shock, with Cole and O’Reilly both not yet having won since becoming part of the Championship Wrestling from Hollywood Brand. The Super Smash Bros though, were former champions so were never going to be easy opponents.

The Industrial Revolution would face The Knights in the first round, a replay of last year’s final and show the clear difference in both teams trajectories. IR would claim the win, and continue to show why they are the current World Tag Team Champions.

GZPZ would reform for one night only, but Gresham and Zane would suffer defeat at the hands of Censored Material.

+ + + + +

Candice LeRae would successfully defend the Women’s Title against LuFisto, although the match was lacking which was surprising considering the quality of matches that the women had been putting on in recent months.

Peter Avalon would destroy Shark Boy in a squash match, with it being hard to believe that the Worlds Title had been actually on the line. It seemed the purpose of the match had simply been to make Avalon look even more of a villain than before.

+ + Crocket Cup Semi Finals + +

The Motor City Machine Guns would continue their winning ways with a victory over the Super Smash Bros and book themselves a place in the Crockett Cup Final.

Industrial Revolution were left gobsmacked, as they would actually suffer a loss to Censored Material. This would mean that despite being the champions during the tournament for the last two years, IR had been unable to win the prestigious tag team tournament once again.

+ + + + +

Ricky Banderas and Goldberg would finally meet, in a battle of the two men clearly motivated by the desire to become the Worlds Champion. THe match wasn’t the best, but it was a tough brawl that would result in Banderas spiking Goldberg down and claiming a big win over the veteran.

+ + Crocket Cup Final + +

The final would prove to be a great contest with both teams knowing that a win would very much see them facing Industrial Revolution for the tag team titles at a later date. It would be Sabin and Shelley though would come out trumps over the more established pairing of Hass and Benjamin and they would have made a perfect start to their debut night as members of the NWA by becoming the 5th ever wins of the trophy.

---------------

The NWA announced that they have secured a deal with streaming Service Netflix, with the airing taped episode of Championship Wrestling From Hollywood on their platform with the show being made available for watching every Wednesday night. Pay Per View events would continue to be sold as before, but highlights would be made available on Netflix on the following episodic show. The deal is signed for a total of sixteen episodes.

It would also be announced - that a second show would also mean that the company would be running two shows a week. With the second show airing for free on YouTube.

A number of singles matches would feature at the start of the show. Brodie Lee would defeat Matt Hardy, Josh Alexander would beat Brody King and Cash Wheeler would defeat Trevor Murdoch. What it would show is that the NWA had a plethora of talent available to it, and perhaps this was why it had managed to secure distribution deals with both Netflix and YouTube that would be beginning following the completion of the Live Show.

Rebecca Knox would continue her winning ways with a win over KC Spinelli. After the match though, KC would make it known that she had wrestled her last match with the NWA and would be leaving the company.

Candice LeRae would defend her title against Tenille Dashwood and once again, would not be able to engage the crowd in the same way that previous champions had been able to.

Censored Material would win a four corners match defeating Future Shock, Front Line and The Bhangra Knights to claim the victory. It would be the first time that Hakim Zane would team up with one of the Sihra brothers, on a two person basis.

The Industrial Revolution would defend their belts against the Crockett Cup Winners in what would be a great match between IR and MCMG and be a standout match. Gotch and Burch would show why they are one of the best teams though, as they would successfully retain their titles. Although, it was clear that both teams would surely face each other at some point down the line.

Silas Young would finally claim a victory over Doctor El Sueno, in what had proven to be a great series of matches between both men.

Gresham would offer a National Championship title shot to Kyle Bukhari after making it clear he had been very impressed with the young wrestler. The match would be of a decent standard, but Gresham would show his experience and leave with the strap still in his possession.

The main-event would be marred when Banderas would nail Avalon with a Samoan Drop off the turnbuckle. However, the move would be such a powerful manoeuvre that it would cause the ring to collapse and both men suffer the damage because of it. The referee would be left with no choice, but to call a no contest due to the ring being in no state to continue the contest. Somehow, Peter Avalon had managed to hold onto his title once again.

------

Peter Avalon officially considered being the Face of the Championship Wrestling from Hollywood having been the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion for nine month, and defended the title five times. To many he is considered as the main reason why the NWA under the CWH branding has been able to be so successful, despite very much being a minor promotion.

Diamond Konley, KC Spinelli and Willie Mack all departed from the NWA.

PAC signs a contract with the NWA leaving Ring of Honor to do so.

Rumours were suggesting that the NWA had reached out to a number of wrestlers, especially those on training rosters with the intent to sign them to the Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, as the expansion continued.

Episode One [Show #24]

The first match as part of the Netflix era would begin with an intergender match that would see Tenille Dashwood claim a win over Cedric Alexander’s manager Caprice Coleman. It would emerge that Caprice had made it clear that he would only allow Tenille to fraternize with his client if he was able to beat her in a singles contest.

The Beer City Bruiser would actually prove to be a great opponent for Ricky Banderas, despite it never being in question that Ricky was going to leave with the win. Nonetheless, the match had some cool spots which made for some excellent viewing.

After the match Goldberg would emerge from the back and make it clear that Banderas had stolen his chance of becoming the world champion and that the problems between both men were far from being finished.

Danny Burch would claim a singles win over Chris Sabin, with the rivalry between IR and MCMG continuing. Alex Shelley though would balance the scales later on, as he would get a win over Danny Burch.

Rebecca Knox would cut a promo backstage, making it clear that her sights were still very much set on the Women’s Championship - even if the rumours of outside talent were were circulating were true.

The first main-event of the new era of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood would see Gresham successfully retain the National Championship against challenger Cash Wheeler.

Episode Two [Show #25]

A highlight reel would open the show, looking back at Peter Avalon’s reign as the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, a belt that he had been in possession of for the last nine months.

The first match of the night would see Christina Von Eerie face Rebecca Knox, and it would be the returning talent Knox that would claim the victory and it seemed quite clear that she had returned to the NWA as a very different woman.

Gresham and Wheeler would meet once again, with the pair clearly being seen by management as two men that were very suited to each other. Wheeler would claim another non-title win, although the question remained as to whether he could actually beat Jonathan when the National Championship was on the line.

Peter Avalon would be speaking backstage about being recognised as the 5th best wrestler in 2010, only to be jumped from behind by a masked man and slammed through a table. The viewers were left with the question, who did it?

Future Shock would claim a massive win over the Industrial Revolution, that would really leave the tag team champions looking puzzled. After the match, Adam Cole would make it clear that himself and O’Reilly had just put the division on notice and it wouldn’t be long till they had a second chance at IR, and that next time they expected the gold to be on the line.

Ricky Banderas would claim another impressive win, this time over Uhaa Nation. Ricky was on quite the run as of late, and technically hadn’t lost in singles competition. After the match, he would be attacked in the ring by Goldberg with Bill eventually nailing Ricky with the Spear. Goldberg would make it clear that he felt Banderas had stolen his spot on the card - and that he was the man who should be challenging for the Worlds Championship.

The night would end with LuFisto defeating MsChif in a match, and the winner was promised a title match against Candice LeRae on next week’s episode.

Episode Three [Show #26]

Highlights of the match between MCMG and Super Smash Bros would open the show, with the match featuring on the ‘Extra Show’ on Youtube and not having been previously available on Netflix.

The opening match would see The Front Line (Owens & Taven) get a victory over The Knights, with it almost seemed as if the Sihra Brother’s time at the top of the tag team division was now very much a thing of the past, considering the Front Line were almost seen as a jobber faction.

Josh Alexander would feature in a not very interesting backstage interview, where he would make it felt that since his epic string of matches with Okada - he felt that he had been forgotten about and would do everything he could to pull himself back up the hierarchy.

In the battle of the Kyles, it would be O’Reilly who would manage to claim a singles victory over hot prospect Bukhari.

A video package promoting the IR vs. MCMG confirmed that both teams would face each other at the Summer Show PPV with the tag team titles on the line.

Shelton Benjamin and Alex Shelley would show themselves as both being capable of performing at high level in singles action, with Benjamin claiming an important win in one of the better matches of the night with Paul Ellering as a constant in his corner.

The main event would see the Women’s Title on the line, with LuFisto defeating LeRae to become a two time champion. The match was nothing special, but the crowd reaction suggested that they were much happier with Fisto being the champion.

Episode Four [Show #27]

The show would open looking back at the YouTube clash between Gresham and Jacobs, that had been for the National Championship.

The first match would be for the Hollywood Championship, with Pepper Parks retaining the title against The Beer City Bruiser.

Paul Ellering would be backstage with Censored Material standing behind him. Ellering would make it clear that his boys were without any doubt one of the best tag teams around, and that very soon they would be knocking at the doors of the tag team champions.

Christina Von Eerie would get a winner over MsChif, but the match if anything would prove to be a bit of a let down for the fans.

Summer Show would feature a hype package, with it being the first time that a show of this name would be taking place and it was clear that it was very much going to be an annual event moving forward.

Kyle Bukhari would face the biggest challenge of his career and fall short as he would go one on one with Goldberg. Considering Bill was on a limited appearance contract, Bukhari can’t complain about getting the opportunity to compete with one of the GOATS.

After the match, Goldberg would see Ricky Banderas destroy his car backstage using a baseball bat to smash all the window’s of Goldberg’s car.

The main event would see LuFisto and Knox team up to get a win over IR Power (LeRae and SJB) in a fairly average match.
