TNA's Knockouts consistently land the high points of each iMPACT!, check any ratings breakdown. The fact that said high point is only maybe a 1.3 stems from TNA's apparent phobia of any form of advertising besides handing out flyers at WWE PPVs. I can say with confidence that TNA is only being watched by maybe a quarter of the people who would watch it if they knew it existed. That's why WWE goes out of their way to never ever mention TNA on the air, ever. If they came out and said "YEAH THAT'S RIGHT, WE'RE AT WAR WITH TNA", iMPACT!'s ratings would hit 3.0 overnight and only go higher from there, and at a 3.0, the Knockouts would be a quarter hour of 3.9.
People WANT to see a division like the Knockouts, that's why they're ALWAYS the highest rated segment or close to it, with the only exception being a Kong vs. Unknown squash match. If TNA actually advertised so people would know it existed, the Knockouts would still be the highest rated segment.
To hit the point home even FURTHER, here, suck down some math.
Let X = Average Rating.
Typical TNA segment = X.
Knockouts segment = X + 0.5X.
