I always felt the Rock/Punk match was such a huge marquee match-up it could have taken place at Mania.

And imagine the pop if Rock won the 2013 Royal Rumble and not Cena? If Rock tossed out Cena to win even?

Setting Rock and Cena for SummerSlam, easily. Then you'd get Rock for what a few months as champion?

We could also do Cena/Taker at 29 since Rock/Punk is the main? Imagine that happening without the Cena squash?

WM 29 was the first WM in Giants (fuck "Metlife") Stadium, my home stadium that is about 10 mins from where I live. I didn't even go to that WM (despite how close it was to me) because of how underwhelming I felt that card was.

However, if we got the card at that WM that you just proposed here, I would've went to that WM happily.

Rock was hurt I believe and it was pretty lackluster.

Which makes me this whole shouldn't have been the main easier to argue in retrospect even if that makes no sense.

I thought the 29 match was like exactly the same quality of the 28 one. Honestly if you showed me both in a vacuum, with none of the logos around the arena and shit like that, I'd have a hard time telling which was which.
