They won't. They should have kept his streak going a little longer and then had him lose. He lost all momentum when he lost his first match and couldn't win a PPV match either.

The problem with streaks is they backfire more than the help. It crippled Goldberg. Holding on to his streak so long ruined their ability to push him once it was over.

You really gamble each time you do it. You have to know how long to drag it and when to end it right.
