Yeah, I'm going to listen to that in a bit. Their "new" guitarist (not really so new anymore) is the dude from Grave Miasma. I expect the album to be good. I have that "Defiance" LP btw, I love all D666's releases, they don't disappoint.

Some really, really good industrial stuff. Every Godflesh album is worth checking out, IMO if you're into industrial or wanting to hear more. One of the greats of the genre.

When I played bass I spent a good part of two years trying to nail down that bass tone. Ended up getting it too

People also don't give enough love to the later Danzig albums. Danzig IV is one of my favorite albums, for sure.

Also I was posting something in the nu-metal thread, and saw that there was another old thread called "The Heaviest of Metal Discussion". My topic on TWF was "The Heaviest of the Metal Thread" and that one here was posted by someone who used to post in my thread, lol. And Combat Mosh by Lich King was like the third song I ever posted in that thread.

Hell yeah. At The Gates was awesome. Didn't they release an album recently? I've not checked it out but I remember hearing they were going to release something new. I was out of the metal loop for a little while haha .

There's not been too many Metal threads here I don't think. Nor too many Metal fans for that matter. This dude @Kuolema from Finland was one of the few, he was really into black metal and old school stuff, we took over the thread I made years ago (much like you and I have here lol). We both stopped coming around for a while though, haven't seen him in a long time.
