It's pretty obvious Meltzer has 100% convinced himself Malakai made up the mental health reasons to get released too which is really sad if he doesn't have any real source for that. Obviously, a different story if he does but he's really pushing that narrative and with Malakai already pissed at how much his shit is being speculated about, its a weird thing to keep going back to.

If HHH is all "I'm in charge now *wink wink* if you were to be a free agent there might be a spot over for you *wink wink*" then yeah you can say it's tampering but if it was just a simple case of asking how long their contract is / when it's up then I really doubt there's anything punishable there even though there's a clear hidden message in those words.

Yeah and the timing is suspect anyway lol I think this is closer to what happened and one of those people notified AEW (the original story weeks ago was from this person, my theory is Adam Cole but i have 0 proof) but now MULTIPLE people were straight up asking for their releases at that same time? Obviously they reached out to a few people, but bruh Trips is not going for the bright ones if theyre all asking for releases at once instead of trying to stagger that shit a little bit

Malakai's situation itself feels so separate for me anyway because he was actually released, had his separate statement and everything. He's literally just a straight up liar using mental health as an excuse if the recent stuff is 100% true lol
