The sad thing is I really could see this going either way -- that he really did screw them over or that WWE is just spreading this shit out to the dirtsheets to start some buzz and get people talking. I feel like it's probably the latter though.

I doubt it's true, but it might be possible. I could imagine the Rock simply saying 'Fuck that.' He has the clout to not worry about consequences and last night's show was truly terrible. Throw in a bad mood, a rash decision, and maybe WWE just doesn't seem worth it anymore.

I don't get how Rock being a legit twat sets up a heel turn. Non-kayfabe antics don't always go into kayfabe land.
