Notes: E (eliminated from playoff contention) | A (advanced to playoffs)
Lincoln Lions join Aberdeen Astronauts as the second team from Diamond Division advancing the playoffs and will have to wait for the playoff draw to be made to find out who they will be playing, although team from the same division will not be eligible to play each other in the quarter finals.
Twin Fall Tigers started the season so positively and had commanded an early lead at 3-0, but went on to lose the next three games ending the season 3-3 and finished in third place and thus missed out on the playoffs. One has to guess, they will feature in one of the more high profile Invitational Bowls this post season.
BC Lions would announce they were departing the league, after a dispute with the MLF about Lincoln Lions also using the Lions as their team name and thus creating a conflict of interest in terms of branding. BC Lions would announce they had signed to join the XFL, as the first Canadian team in the rival league. This departure means that out of the original Canadian teams that joined the league, only four remain. Edmonton and Calgary having merged to form Alberta Crusaders and now BC Lions having parted ways with the MLF mean that just seven Canadian teams remain in the league.
