This made me lol. Anyway this is something they needed to try but I hope they didn't give up whatever deal they have on the Impact Zone because they need a fallback option.

I think there's enough interest If they hype the local media enough in the areas they visit to sell out some smaller venues.

I'm from Texas, and there's definitely enough wrestling fans around to fill out a 1000-2000 seat arena, with the lack of regional wrestling anymore. And the more often they tour, the better the ratings are on TV, and the better the turn out is for the next go-round. It's a win/win if they plan carefully.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if this lasts longer than the move to Monday nights. They've needed to do this for years, and now can be considered semi-serious, although with this new schedule, plus their house shows, I do wonder how much longevity they'll get from those who are with them due to the lighter schedule of touring (RVD, Hardy etc).

If executed properly, then a real fan feedback could boost the booking, and the increase in finances could assist with advertising to help the company get noticed by the mainstream, and finally, FINALLY, have enough of a prescence about it to make Vince start treating his lot seriously 24/7

TNA has been hemorrhaging money since Dixie took over, they've never been about making money they've always been about Dixie's dad giving her something to do.

Not totally true I believe they were supposed to have made a profit for the first time around 2007-08 period. Also in recent years they have had great success in the UK.

Doing all the ppv's on the road is definitely what they should be doing now, but I'm not sure they're ready for a road schedule with Impact.

They did it on 08, the majority of the PPVs were on the road, only like 4 out of 12 were at the iMPACT zone and they drew pretty damn good numbers; so I'm wondering why the fuck did they stop doing that in the first place?

On a sidenote, them doing this is a good 4 years too late, they shoulda done it back in 08 when Joe was red hot and the PPVs were on the road; TNA fail to capture real opportunities when they are presented to them.

This is one of the situations where having names like Angle, Sting, RVD, Hogan, Hardy etc. come in handy. They go on the road with Impact and promote in these new places with names like that and people will come out if the price is right even if they aren't huge TNA fans. It is a great opportunity for them to grow their fanbase by using these big paid stars to lure fans in to the shows.

The 3/15 Impact Wrestling taping in Hoffman Estates, IL is selling well.

Currently, there are no seats available in the $73, $43 and $23 price range.

Tickets still remain for $125 VIP Suite seating, which includes pre-show appearances by TNA talents and $13 tickets.
It's likely more seats will be released once they are cleared by production, but that's a really good sign for the first official "on the road full-time"
taping.

Impressive sales early on from TNA. I can't find a seating capacity for the arena that they are working in but it should be at least a few thousand which is a great start.

Yeah man, TNA has come to my neck of the woods the last two years but WWE hasn't been here since 2005. I went both times. At least they take a chance on us.

That is where TNA can really take advantage of being smaller than WWE. They can run the smaller towns that WWE ignores because they don't have an arena big enough. TNA can run 3-4k seat arenas whereas WWE would always go for the next step up. This is a good way to try to convert some of those wrestling fans by bringing the product to them.

The Alerus Center in my city can hold almost 25,000 people. TNA just held their shows in the ballroom of the place. It's more than good enough to hold a house show every 5 years for fuck sake.

Maybe they didn't draw well in the past in your area so WWE keep skipping it? Seems like with all the shows WWE run that they would be able to hit most cities every couple of years.
