There's been plenty of wrestlers who weren't great at talking but still became major stars due to overall presentation. Bobby Lashley comes to mind immediately. Undertaker and Jeff Hardy too.

Undertaker wasn’t a good talker? The fuck? Bobby Lashley imo loses credibility because of how shitty he is on the mic if I’m being honest. He’s got presence and good in ring skills but his promos drop him a few points. Jeff Hardy I’ll give you cause he wasn’t great on the mic but had charisma for days.
