Then I’m not even really sure what the argument is anymore. Enjoy your day man lolI never said he wasn't good. I said he wasn't great.

Well I think you just answered your own question. Being good on the mic to me is are you good considering what your character requires. If the answer is yes then you’re good imo.Nahhhhh Taker fucking sucked on the mic for most of his career tbh He only managed to get away with it because it fit his character. You get to Biker taker and that's where he actually got really good.
Only so often you can keep repeating the hounds of hell and Ghosts of the past and blah blah blah. His promos were ass, have you even gone back and watched them? Let's not forget the infamous "NOT YOURS" promo that he cut on Jake Roberts.Well I think you just answered your own question. Guess that’s why he’s considered the greatest character in wrestling historyHis promos sucked, at least until 2001 when he was allowed to say more than the usual schtick. Sorry that I'm right.
I'm not taking away his charisma or his presence my dude. He is one of the best wrestlers of all time, but you cannot deny his promos were not very good for years, precisely because they were so limited and stilted. Off the top of my head, I think the best promo he ever cut pre-2001 was giving out to Vince McMahon about a title shot in the Summer of 1998.Guess that’s why he’s considered the greatest character in wrestling history
Again, that’s what his character was. Sucking on the mic means you can’t do what’s required of you to sell your character. Taker sold the hell out of his character every time he spoke.I'm not taking away his charisma or his presence my dude. I for one was definitely sold that this man was an undead wizard from Death Valley, so you got me there.Again, that’s what his character was. Sucking on the mic means you can’t do what’s required of you to sell your character. Taker sold the hell out of his character every time he spoke.
I was just saying Taker's promos weren't very good until around 2001 or so.I heard we’re shitting on Taker in here? All aboard!
This may be your best take I’ve ever seen.Nahhhhh Taker fucking sucked on the mic for most of his career tbh He only managed to get away with it because it fit his character. You get to Biker taker and that's where he actually got really good.
I endorse this take.I was just saying Taker's promos weren't very good until around 2001 or so.
