I'm not taking away his charisma or his presence my dude. He is one of the best wrestlers of all time, but you cannot deny his promos were not very good for years, precisely because they were so limited and stilted. Off the top of my head, I think the best promo he ever cut pre-2001 was giving out to Vince McMahon about a title shot in the Summer of 1998.

Biker Taker actually got comfortable enough with his character to cut legit promos. When he turns heel, especially. Big Evil was spittin’ straight fire.
