Yeah that'd work too, I wouldn't hate it but I don't think it should be the finals if they do that since it'd be more of a story match.

I still want Seth vs Finn as the finals to mirror the Universal match in 2016
could do it in the first round and its a shocker, as a compromise then

If they wanted to do the “cody loses cause he’s injured” angle then Cody would really have to sell it. Come out limping and holding his injured body part. Make it look like he can barely even get in the ring and then he fights like hell only to finally succumb

not to shit on your idea, but I don't think the Bloodline has any reason to attack Cody anymore. They beat him, they are done with him and leaving for another show. I don't see why they would care about this Brock Cody matchup
Maybe judgement day takes him out of noc then Cody/Balor feud could be fun

I still think Logan is heavily rehearsed and just looks like he is doing moves in a sequence, but I am a notable, notable hater
This is how DDP, and I believe Savage, liked to work.

Not the moves in a sequence part, but they liked having well scripted and rehearsed matches.

ofc but those guys could also work a match on the fly and their matches looked smooth. I am more saying that much like Ronda, you take the heavy rehearsals away and he would lost like a puppy

I always heard Savage had some heat with some folks bc that was pretty unheard of for top level talent at the time to essentially have the entire match planned. Like Mania III was beat for beat with no improvisation and most folks were not used to having to memorize that shit lol

nah he said exactly what I thought he would, an easily contract table and stupid statement lol. I love dunking on these takes

Seth is much shorter. as is AJ styles. Sabs is, as usual, talking out of his bum
I do think there is a such thing as looking like a pro wrestler while also acknowledging at the same time the Wrestling has evolved. Like if I close my eyes, and I think of just work progress, looks like I will tend to see hall, hogan, ultimate warrior, Randy Savage in my head before then I’ll begin to picture more modern wrestlers like Seth Rollins, AJ Styles.

I can’t speak for Sabs and only myself, but I do think there’s a place for all types of pro wrestlers, but I do sometimes find myself wishing that they were a few more bigger dudes in pro wrestling.

Yeah, I heard people hated it. Especially guys like Flair that needed to call stuff.

DDP I hear was super anal about it and it drove Raven and Benoit nuts. It’s why I think they put him with Savage for a year because they both liked it.

I mean all the bigger dudes are there in WWE, people don't notice until one of those guys goes to AEW or elsewhere. I do think guys are less big in general, but that is also because sports medicine and eductation is much better now. We know that being super muscular does not equate good in ring performance or explosiveness. it's not different in football, hockey, etc. Gone are the days where everyone had to be 6'2 + (in hockey in this example) or you wouldn't even get drafted. same with MMA, it showed ppl size does not equate fitness or talent.
