Just heard an interesting idea for Cody/Brock. Doesn't really matter who wins bc Cody still could and then this happens post match but basically Brock kills him again and this "injures" him so he doesn't even have to be in the consolation title tournament leaving it open for Seth or whoever to win without having to beat Cody

It's not the best but I do think it solves the issue of some corners theyve booked themselves into since no one really wants Cody winning that title first and logically why wouldn't he be in the tournament otherwise

wouldn't it be even better to just have him be hurt, still enter the tournament but then lose to Seth because he isnt 100? Seth finally gets a win over him, there is a reason for the feud to reignite at any time, and Cody is protected. Just a thought

Yeah that'd work too, I wouldn't hate it but I don't think it should be the finals if they do that since it'd be more of a story match.

I still want Seth vs Finn as the finals to mirror the Universal match in 2016

The most I could see is Heyman getting involved somehow but not the rest
